Wesley got in to to see the pediatrician this morning and is doing so well, in fact he was cleared to go back to daycare tomorrow! I am so excited to go back to work and hopefully get back to normal, whatever that is. I was also really glad that he is doing much better too!

We are getting a "major" snowstorm. I took Emma or outside in her sled. She loves playing outside but I've determined she does not like the snow. . Maybe it is the snowsuit she hates. Today is my husband's birthday he was able to come home early because of the weather. I never got him a birthday present and I feel guilty. Emma got him despicable me 1&2 lol.

This is the inside of ds2 size 12 month coat. What is this little pocket for? His keys, smart phone, Ipod? I just noticed it today and it strikes me as funny. I think i will put a teether in it to make it useful.

Navy, I agree what is that little pocket for?! Could it hold mittens or one of those hand warmers you shake up?

Chricast, I love the snow pictures and the outfit is adorable.

This snow freaking sucks @Chricast

B had her first day at daycare today!! She was supposed to go from 9:30-4:30ish today but because of the snow I took her early at 7:30 and picked her up at 12:30. I wanted to make sure her first day was one that I was home.

The only thing I was worried about was napping. She typically won't fall asleep anywhere but her crib and sometimes the car. But she laid her down at 9:45, she cried for 2 mins, and fell asleep. When I got there at 12:20 she had to go wake her up!! She never sleeps like that for me!!! I'm blaming it on the fact she got up an hour and a half earlier than usual, but still!!

I don't know how all you teachers do what you do. Your patience level far exceeds mine!

Today is my stepsons 9th birthday however I had to go get him from school and he has a fever. He is the kid who temp always spikes up really high a few times before it goes away, so right now he is at 103.4. oh goodie!

I actually do keep his little thumbless mittens in the outside pockets. I also love the little pockets on the cargo pants. They only fit a quarter. DS1 loves when I give him a quarter to put in his oh so use full pocket.

My mom brought treats to the class and took me home. It must of been traumatic for me because it still wonder what those cupcakes tasted like. Hope your stepson feels better soon

Here are two random confessions
1. I still have my Sublime cd that I bought in high school and I am listening to it right now. So it's about 15 years old and isn't even scratched.

2. My husband touched up one of my tattoos and it's so itchy and peeling so I have Ashley pat my back since I can't scratch it.

Had my interview today and it went great! I shocked myself because I was barely nervous. The hiring manager was really easy to talk to though so that really helped. She's interviewing through next week, and I was her first interview so that makes me a little nervous. Hopefully I set the bar super high! She told me she really loved meeting me and gave me really good vibes. We connected really well so I'm optimistic

Snow day! I have played candy land, trouble and more card games than I can count. I did a little preschool workbook stuff with DD1 and read books to DD2. I have cleaned the kitchen 1 billion times! DH came home for lunch so I had to make an extra lunch today. Everyone ate at separate times so I felt like I was making lunch for over an hour and cleaning! Same thing happened with dinner. DH got home late so I made dinner two separate times. I showered once DH was home. I got out, and my kitchen was still a flipping disaster. I cleaned it in complete angry silence. DH picked up on it and proceeded to do our normal game time with DD1 by himself. I poured a glass of wine and headed to the bedroom!

Happened to me once, too. My birthday is on Valentines day so in elementary school (I think 4th grade) my mom offered to host the class Valentines Day party. I got sick and was sent home with a fever, so my mom took me home but then had to leave me home sick to go host the party and was gone all afternoon. total bummer.

Well I told him it will be a birthday he never forgets. Sounds like you girls are right about that. He has been asleep most of the day and his brother is drooling over the untouched birthday cake.
