Love: Ladies lunch! We go out to lunch every Thursday just her and I;). And tired snuggles...she is so independent I love when she rests her head on my shoulder and is not trying to bite it.
Hate: getting her in her car seat. Always a struggle!
Hate: diaper changes, getting her into car seat. She doesn't want to be stilll.
Edit to add: BATHS! She screams like I'm killing her for anything involving water.
If somebody thinks they're a hedgehog, presumably you just give 'em a mirror and a few pictures of hedgehogs and tell them to sort it out for themselves.-Douglas Adams
Hate: changing clothes/diaper. He throws tantrums screams and cries now. Sometimes I think he could give a bodybuilder contortionist a run for their money.
Love: His tired cuddly, kissy time right before he goes to sleep. He has had his bottle but he just wants to kiss and love on me before I put him down. It melts my heart. I also love taking him to restaurants!
Love: first thing in the morning when he's so chipper and cuddly. He's also really into playing together now, and it's a lot of fun.
Hate: cutting his finger nails (haaaate) and diaper changes are usually stressful.
I hate putting him in the carseat, too. I love most everything else :-) Except when he is being super fussy... then I just can't deal. I need to work on being a more patient person (it was actually a New Year's resolution).

@Pinottoparenthood , I understand exactly what you mean. I am not the most patient person in the world.
I love bath time, playing, and talking to him.
I only dislike trying to put a new diaper on him, he sits still somewhat for the cleaning but once I am done with that it is like 3928 octopuses flailing about.
Love: hanging out together. I talk to her all the time. It's gotten me a lot of odd looks until they realize I have a baby with me. Hate: putting her in her crib and her crying before she goes to sleep.
Hate - the convertible car seat! my cars are so tiny that I have to have such precision in not bumping her head on the door jam, which is not easy with a flailing infant who does NOT want to go in.
Hate: I also hate cleaning the high chair. It's a 100 year old family heirloom (beautiful, but...) and has lots of crevices. I also hate the limited amount of time I get with him on certain days, but that's not a task. Oh, and pumping. Sick of pumping.
Love: bedtime cuddles of course. Probably even more than that is the giant "mom-I-missed-you-so-much-Im-so-happy-you-are-here" smile I get every day when I pick him up from day care. Makes all the tasks worth it.
Hate: cutting his nails, changing poopy diapers when they aren't solid, the schlepping of things (ie, diaper bag, toys, in and out of carseat, juggling him getting in and out of stores, the fact that I can't just dash in somewhere, etc).
Love: everything else :-) Love teaching him about food, snuggling, his pure unadulterated joy and laughter during bath time, reading to him, singing to him, and when my husband makes him laugh (he throws his head back and laughs like a 5 year old), my heart explodes into a million pieces.
Hate: washing the cloth diapers, cleaning him up after a meal, gymnurstics
I HATE cleaning the high chair too, but make it more bearable by hosing it off in the back yard once a week... but then again I live in sunny California B-)
Love: Nighttime snuggles, her beautiful laugh when we are playing/tickling her, walking in from work and her lighting up, her crinkling of her nose when she smiles, bedtime bottles, first time seeing her in the morning and so on and so on.
Hate: Laundry. I spray everything so it looks brand new and it takes forever.

Hate washing bottles, pump parts, changing crib sheets, trying to clean her nose (she sees the nose frida now and just starts crying lol).
Love everything else especially playing with her!. These days she'll actually initiate peek-a-boo and it's her favorite game to play. She's also learned to say "uh oh" and will say that all day! She loves giving wet kisses and is so fascinated with my hair and pulls on it constantly haha
