New to board: Gianna Isabelle born 1/4

My little girl came early at 28 week, 1 day. She is now 2lb 7 oz and taking 11 ml daily of breast milk. Gia is on a vent at lowest setting and we hope to move her to Cpap soon. She likely has at least 6 more weeks in the nicu.

I had a healthy pregnancy up until I checked my blood pressure at home using my hubby's Bp cuff. Went to l&d and diagnosed with preeclampsia. Put on bed rest. 3 days later I had placental abruption at home that I am relieved we both survived! It had been a roller coaster!

    Welcome! I absolutely love your daughter's name!! It sounds like she's doing great too! This board is fabulous and everyone is really welcoming. I'm sorry you are here but you are in the right spot!

    Welcome! Beautiful name :) Hoping you have an uneventful NICU stay and things progress smoothly!

    I also had pre-e and had my DD at 29.6. Scary stuff! Glad things are doing well for now!

    Welcome. I also had an abruption with a slew of other things. Hope your NICU stay is healthy and short.
