20 Weeks, Big Questions! Need Advice!

Hi ladies! So I'm 20 weeks and find out the gender this Friday! We are moving into our first home, and there's a lot on my plate so I have a few questions. How much weight in general have u put on? Have you set up a nursery? When do u sign up for Lamaze classes? When is good time for hospital walk thru? Thank you so much! Highly appreciated:))

I've put on about 10 lbs, nursery is still a junl room, I think we did lamaze classes around 30 weeks last time? No idea on the last question. I think we did a walk through as part of the lamaze class series.

We're in escrow for our first home, so I'm feeling really behind on setting up the nursery too

my hospital recommended doing the walk-through by week 20; I just did mine this week, but there were a few girls on the tour ready to pop. I think the weight question really depends on what your BMI is. I myself haven't gained a single pound yet at 18 weeks

Hi. I'm 20 weeks today! And have my scan tomorrow. I have put on about 5kgs. We have bought a lot of stuff for the nursery but it's not set up yet. I have rung up about antenatal classes and the lady who runs them is going to get back to me. I think we do a hospital walk through as part of the antenatal classes. Hope ur feeling well!

I have lost 6 pounds so far.

I haven't set up a nursery yet. We are on the waitlist for a 3 bedroom, so won't set up the nursery until we move. But even if we were staying here there's no way we would have it set up yet. We're still trying to decide how to decorate it.

Every hospital seems different as to when you sign up for Lamaze classes. I took one with my first, and loved it. With this one I think we won't do it again, because we had her just 2 years ago.

My doctor said to do the hospital tour in April, but I'm assuming I'll have to call awhile before that to schedule it.

Have you set up a nursery? No, we bed share with our babies
When do u sign up for Lamaze classes? No clue, 3rd baby and never had Lamaze classes

I lost 2 lbs in first tri, then gained 10. So I'm up 8 lbs from starting weight. Our nursery is painted, but we're doing a mural on one wall, which will take awhile. No furniture or decor yet. My Bradley (natural childbirth) classes start this Saturday. Our hospital requires a walk through & orientation to register, which they want us to do before month 6, so we'll probably do that in the next few weeks.

Congrats! Finding out the sex is wonderful and magical. I cried (in a good way)

10lbs, planning the nursery now (but have nothing for it yet), never did Lamaze classes, and I did my walk through with DS when I went to register with the hospital before maybe 34 weeks. Your Dr. should discuss this with you when you get closer to your EDD

I'm 21 weeks down 7 lbs gained only 1.8 lbs so far, we are also in escrow buying our first house should be moving in next month!! I've been gathering things here and there but still need a lot!

Congrats on finding out pink or blue! I've put on about 5lbs, it fluctuates day to day. I started off overweight though. I may have been about 20lbs at this point with my first. We're starting with the task of clearing out our office/catch-all room in order to shuffle things around and get going with baby's room. Haven't signed up to classes yet and haven't yet done a walk through. I'd say sometime in the next 10 weeks when I'm around 30 weeks sounds reasonable to me.
