Today my mom had an appointment as a pre consult for surgery she is having next week. She watches my sister's daughter on Tuesdays and Thursdays and asked if My niece could hang at my housed during her one hour appointment. The doctors office is only 2 miles from my house.
I agreed to watch her as it would give my 2.5 yr old a playmate. Well my sister drops my niece off and as she is running our the door says oh yeah my dsughter has a runny nose and is sneezing lots. Then she leaves. I put my DD and niece is the basement to play and Dh took our baby to our room to keep her away from her sick cousin.
I texted my sister and told her I didn't appreciate her dropping her sick kid off when I have a 4 day old at home. Anyway she must have called my mom and told her I chewed her out bc when my mom picked my niece up she wouldn't say two words to me.
So did I over react to a runny nose and sneezing child? Or is that not a big deal?
