The current administration? I don't follow it closely, but I hate how many issues have happened the last few years.
- Obamacare (US)? Great in theory... not in practice
- Pirating movies/music? It causes prices for honest people to be higher than needed. Breastfeeding in public? Its fine. I would prefer people to cover themselves, but I have never bf and don't feel like I shouldnjudge.
Drinking during pregnancy (low to moderate)? - Thats up to.the person... For me, no.
Same sex marriage? - Everyone deserves to be happy
Gun control? I don't agree with conceal and carry. It should be way harder to get a gun. Background checks and gun safety classes should be required.
Abortion? -In situations like rape, it is fine. Other situattions should require counseling and a full understanding to go through with it. I could never do it.
Unisex bathrooms? Ugh, they're fine.

- The current administration? People need to remember there's not just one guy in charge...
- Obamacare (US)? I think we need universal healthcare, for sure, and since this is the first time it has been attempted here there are obviously going to be issues that need to be ironed out.
- Pirating movies/music? Something I am guilty of in my past, but not in my present or future!
- Breastfeeding in public? Personally, discreetly, it's fine...I'm not all about "hey look at my boobs and my baby sucking on them!"
- Drinking during pregnancy (low to moderate)? As much as I'd love to have a mimosa, I just can't bring myself to do it
- Same sex marriage? Absolutely. Who are we to say who can love who? And if they want to call it the same thing, they are entitled to that, too. I don't believe we should call it a civil union to cater to people who are too stuck up in their opinion that does not negate ANYTHING in regards to their own lifestyle.
- Gun control? For sure...not sure how exactly to do it to get the guns out of the wrong guys' hands though. I feel like they will always find a way...
- Abortion? Not for me, but I don't have the right to decide for you
- Unisex bathrooms? What's to debate? You either use them, or you don't
- Legalizing prostitution? so long as it's highly regulated and there is no sex-trafficking or abuse
- The current administration? i hate politics..although I watched The Butler on the plane coming home from the holidays and it made me so happy to have a black president in office. seriously. tear fest.
- Obamacare (US)? don't know much about it. I love the idea of socialized and subsidized medicine but from what I can tell there are some major eff-ups in the way it's been executed. Let's look to Germany and maybe do a two-tiered system without causing tremendous pain to the middle class with rate hikes
- Pirating movies/music? I sort of have an issue with it...but I also have an issue with paying ridic prices to go to the movies and get music. Maybe we should have a Spotify for movies? (also, I don't have enough of an issue that I don't do it)

- Drinking during pregnancy (low to moderate)? go for it but know your limits and be informed about the consequences of too much alcohol
- Same sex marriage? absolutely
- Gun control? i sort of want to get rid of all the guns (like Australia) but at the very least they need to be super tightly controlled. If we're not willing to ditch the 2nd amendment then background checks, mental health checks, school/neighborhood checks (like in Japan) need to be mandatory. And really, I still think we should get all the guns whose purpose is to kill or harm people
- Abortion? I think it should be allowed but I also think we need to focus on preventative care and contraception so that it's not used in place of birth control
- Unisex bathrooms? umm...I don't have a moral issue with it but I hardly like to use public restrooms at all, let alone ones where a cute guy is pooping next to me.
I think Gun Control is the super interesting topic of these so I'd be interested to hear from people who are anti-gun control. It boggles my mind and I can't even begin to fathom why automatic weapons or handguns would be a good thing (let's pretend that if we get rid of all the guns, we actually get rid of ALL the guns).

Um. American health care sounds awful and needs to be fixed one way or another. I'm not clear enough on the details of Obamacare to say whether I think it's the way to go though.

Go for it! (DH isn't comfortable with the idea, and since I'm carrying our baby, I respect his reservations about it and abstain, but I have no problem with others who have done their research enjoying a glass or two occasionally.)

But otherwise, yay sex and sex workers, choice, gays and lesbians, healthcare, legalized (taxed) weed, and I don't care what you put in your mouth during pregnancy or after.

- Legalizing prostitution? This should not happen.
- The current administration? They should all consider finding new jobs.
- Obamacare (US)? I like parts and hate other parts. I honestly feel like the administration keeps changing what the plan entails so I don't have a full understanding of it.
- Pirating movies/music? I'm not going to pretend I haven't done it. But, really, with so many options to watch shows, I don't think there will be a point to it much longer.
- Breastfeeding in public? Baby eats when baby is hungry! Do what you gotta do.
- Drinking during pregnancy (low to moderate)? I don't drink when not pregnant. It seems like most research says it's safe to a certain degree, so I say be smart about it.
- Same sex marriage? I honestly feel conflicted about this. I am trying to balance my beliefs as a Christian and as an American and it's something I am really trying to figure out.
- Gun control? I think it's important to make sure that anyone who owns/purchases a gun is educated about the safest ways to use it. But I don't think stricter gun control (ie, making guns illegal) will deter violence.
- Abortion? Another one where two belief systems are warring against each other. I don't like the idea of the government saying what I can and can't do with my body. I also have never had to face this decision so I'm not sure I can judge. There is no one situation that is identical.
- Unisex bathrooms? lol, isn't this already a thing? Do you mean having all bathrooms be unisex? My only issue with this is as a mother, I don't necessarily want my kids seeing parts of other people that are generally kept private. With men, this is sort of inevitable (or at least more likely). But otherwise I don't see why it's a problem.

- Unisex bathrooms? I don't like public bathrooms. I have no opinion and didn't realize this was a hot button topic.
- Legalizing prostitution? I have mixed feelings on this one. There would need to be some serious regulation.
- The current administration? Eh. There's been better and there's been worse. I feel like Obama takes a lot of crap for things that are not necessarily his fault (or at least all his fault).
- Obamacare (US)? Good in theory, has some kinks to be worked out before it is really effective.
- Pirating movies/music? As the wife of a musician, definitely not okay with it.
- Breastfeeding in public? Go for it. I will cover up when I have to do it in public, but I don't care how others go about it.
- Drinking during pregnancy (low to moderate)? I'm okay with it, haven't been comfortable with it yet myself and not sure I will, but I don't have a problem with others doing it if they are educated and drinking in moderation.
- Same sex marriage? Absolutely, 100% yes yes yes!
- Gun control? Yes, but I'm not sure to what level. But it is scary how easy it is to get a gun if you want one.
- Abortion? Not for me personally, but I am definitely pro choice.

- Legalizing marijuana? I am not a smoker, but I think it should be legal. It does no harm to a person, and people should be free to choose. The fact that you can tax it, and that a very large population of inmates in prison would be released (that are only there for marijuana possession/distribution), I think it's a big improvement.
- Obamacare (US)? As someone with a pre-existing condition, I am for it. But there have been a lot of mistakes while implementing it. It just needs time. And it does seem to be slowly working.
- Pirating movies/music? No. You can't walk into a video store and steal the DVDs. Why should you not pay? Pirating not only ruins quality, but makes prices go up for the people that pay.
- Breastfeeding in public? For. Adults eat in public, so should babies. And while I do prefer when women are somewhat discreet, I wouldn't want to eat under a blanket, so I am ok with whatever the mother wants to do. I don't have to look and I see more side boob at the beach.
- Drinking during pregnancy (low to moderate)? None for me. I don't think it's worth the risk after all I went through to get pregnant. I don't really understand needing a drink though, I really don't miss alcohol. But, women should be able to drink in moderation, if they feel comfortable with it. I just don't think we have enough scientific information to make a perfect choice, so I'd rather just not.
- Same sex marriage? Love is love and everyone deserves the same right to be with who they love.
- Unisex bathrooms? Not. Men are gross.

- Legalizing prostitution? Mostly yes, because I like that women would likely receive better treatment due to increased regulations and laws; other hand, not how I see women's empowerment
- The current administration? I respect the office, but the buck stops with the president, whether fair or not
- Obamacare (US)? I personally believe it is going to lead to a further tiered system. I don’t trust any system that is created by politicians who don’t have to use it

Then I got a surprise postive pregnancy test and at the 8 week ultrasound, saw my LO had little gummy bear limbs and a heart beat (never really thought about that before). With that said, aside from health of the mother and special cases, the only way we should outlaw it is if every woman in American has access to free, ubiquitous, no questions asked birth control

I had to get fingerprinted, get a mental background check and get permits. I don't think tightening up will stop criminals from getting guns. I was taught gun safety at a very young age and so will my kids.

- Legalizing prostitution? The world's oldest profession...typically exploits women and starts a near endless cycle. Why not legalize it? Put in strict health guidelines for both parties and tax the hell out of the paying party. Eliminate the pimp and let the prostitute be in control of herself. Draw a pay check and pay taxes. Set up support networks to help women who chose to leave the profession get out. Honestly, I see no difference between prostitution and pornography.
- The current administration? Not a fan at all.
- Obamacare (US)? Has made my employer paid healthcare more expensive and cover less.
- Pirating movies/music? I plead the 5th.
- Breastfeeding in public? I think women who do should exercise a bit of modesty and cover themselves and their babies. Who wants to be gawked at while feeding their baby?
- Drinking during pregnancy (low to moderate)? Nope. No amount has been proven safe. Why would you want to take any risk? I'd probably have a hard time not saying something if I saw an obviously pregnant woman having a drink. It seems selfish to me.
- Same sex marriage? I support every couple's right to commit themselves to each other and share in the benefits of that commitment. I dont care if you call it a civil union, pact, or a marriage. However, I think to appease the fighting, the government should cease issuing marriage licenses and instead issue civil union contracts/licenses and leave the "marriage" element to the churches or social convention. Separate the Church from the State and the legal battle goes away.
- Gun control? I support removal of automatic weapons and agree they really serve no good purpose for non-military/militia. I'm also ok with stricter background checks and registration of weapons. It wont control the black market, however it will put more money into the system to go after those who illegally posses weapons.
- Abortion? I could never do it, but I dont think its anyone's right to keep someone else from doing it. I think elective abortions should be limited to the first 8 weeks only and medically necessary after. I also think its cruel to force women to view the ultrasound, listen to heart beats, or watch anti-abortion propaganda prior to going through with it. I think making birth control more accessible to teenagers would go a long way too in avoiding unwanted pregnancies.
- Unisex bathrooms? Depends on the type. If its a single bathroom that can be used by either sex, I'm cool with that. But I dont want a man in the stall next to me...
-Legalizing marijuana? Yes, taxing it will bring billions of dollars to the economy. I also feel that it is a great alternative medicine that does not have addictive properties so it may help with reducing the amount of pain meds on the shelves, and potentially lower the pill addiction rate. (I hope anyways)

- Obamacare (US)? We need a better health care system all around. Example: a National health care system, or expanding Medicaid allowing for the ineligable to buy in.

- Abortion? Personally, I would never have one but I am all for any means of population control. It's going to happen, it's inevitable, it may as well be in a safe and medically controlled environment.
- Unisex bathrooms. No strong opinion on this one, prefer single sex but I would use a unisex bathroom without a doubt if I had to.
