Struggling to burp

I am breast feeding and my daughter doesn't burp often. Do I keep trying?

    Seeing your last post of having problems with gas also that's probably the best place to start....

    If she's acting fidgety I would continue to try. I can tell when my LO needs to burp, but I bottle feed. So she burps multiple times per feeding.

    Try her in different positions as you burp. Sometimes all it takes is moving positions and K will burp.

    My LO is bf and she has had problems with gas/burping. I just keep burping her frequently during feeding when she pauses and I use gas drops.  Nothing seemed to help at first but I kept with it and she is gradually getting the hang of getting her burps out and I can tell better when I need to burp her, so it is gradually getting better. Keep burping her and FX she will start to get the hang of it too! Also ask your pedi about treatments for gas if she is having problems with that. Something I think that has helped me is bouncing on a yoga ball while burping her. GL.
