Things to do in Fall?

Hey ladies,

I know this board doesn't get much traffic but I thought I'd give this a shot.

We just moved to AR a year ago and I'm still learning about my new home state. I moved here from Ca and my family always went to Apple Hill in the fall. It's an area in the foothills with dozens of apple farmers. They all open up their farms in the fall for visitors. There is usually craft vendors, food vendors, apple picking, fun stuff for the kiddos etc. Plus fresh apple everything (pie, donuts, cider). I'm feeling pretty homesick right since I realized with a son in school now, it will be a LONG time until I can be back home in the fall.

Is there anywhere in AR that does this type of thing? What fall activities do you and your family do?

If it helps, we live in the Little Rock area and I'd only like to travel about 2 hours.

 BFP on Cycle 17 09/27/12. EDD 06/04/12! Please Stick Baby! A/S 01/22/13 Baby looking great. Officially TEAM BLUE! Jack is getting a Baby Brother! RCS scheduled for 05/29/13. William Daryll born at 9:59am on 05/29/13. Left ovary and tube removed due to peach sized tumor found during RCS. Pathology came back benign!

    I guess the closest approximation to that kind of activity in Arkansas would be pumpkin patches/corn mazes.
