child care white bear lake, urgent!!

Hi everyone! I have a 2 month old daughter and a 6 year old son, my husband and I live in White Bear Lake. We are desperately looking for a child care provider for our little one. We are new to the area and would appreciate any reccommendations. I am going to be starting a new job and can not find anyone with openings for an infant. we are open to daycare centers and in home providers. Any suggestions?? Anything will help! Thank you!!!

    If you haven't done it yet, get a list of providers from www.thinksmall.org  

    My sister and brother in law are in the same boat right now with needing an infant and a youth spot so I know what you're dealing with.

    We are in White Bear Lake too! I toured 12 daycare centers and 7 in homes. And spent a minimum of 2 hours at each place drilling them. Two places asked if I was an investigator or license rep. I responded I am the easiest parent you will ever deal with but this is my one and only baby. Thus, I take her care, education and well-being very serious. Note: I used to do licensing too! Ha!

    Point is hands down option is simple. I did the footwork for you. It's a non-profit called Close To My Heart. The owner is Anne. Her number is 651-307-1492. They are located in Maplewood off of White Bear Ave just south of Larpenter. I believe she buses for White Bear schools too! Her rates are VERY reasonable.
