  If she's angry and sleepy I get "mamamamamamama". I like to pretend it's because she wants me...
  
  Recently though I just get yelled at a lot. She isn't mad, I think it's just playing with volume and sounds.

  When she cries I swear it sounds like she says mama. I know she's not but it warms my heart just the same.

  My LO likes to summarize her day in the car ride home.... lots of "gggaaaaa....." going on in my back seat. @Revez my LO likes to yell at me too, I get in trouble all the time!

  I'm pretty sure I heard "heeellppp" when he rolled over and couldn't roll back.

  I voted SS because he is making a lot of soft consonant sounds like la, ha, and ga, but not so much hard consonants like ma, ba, da.

  Mine sounds like a dolphin half the time and is shrieking the rest of the time. Although she did very clearly say "BAGEL" the other night. Dh and I both heard it and died laughing.

  @msspeedymarie My son does the same thing! I thought there was something wrong with him, but I guess that it's normal. He also says mama and gaaaa.

  Mine does vowels and consonants and loves talking, but what cracks us up is his fake cough.  I had a really bad cough for about 4 weeks , and I think he started imitating me because he has incorporated obviously fake "coughing" into his stream of baby babble.

  We've heard "hi" and "help" also along with tons of baby babble. DD has recently discovered razzing and loves it. The three of us had a whole razz conversation the other night when she was in the tub. It was so cute.

  DH also swears he heard him say "lug nut" one time.

  She also likes to blow raspberries and bubbles when she's mad and I *swear* she's cursing at me, haha.

  DS sounds like Babe sometimes... La La La! ETA: This is a description of his tone. He's not actually making an "L" sound yet.

  DD just started saying what sounds like "blah blah blah" lol. Whats worse is the first time she said it I was trying to get her to say mama...and she studied my face real hard for a few minutes  and said blah blah blah....
