My husband has a Spanish last name (but he's American with an English first name), I am South American born but parents are from Spain/Italy. I need a girl's name that can be pronounced by both families and that doesn't sound too Spanish or too English. I would like to honor my European heritage. The names I've always loved are either too popular right now or start with an A but that would make her initials ASS...so no! Hubby and I can't agree on anything. The only ones he might consider are Camilla and Daniela (family name).
Re: What do you guys think of the name Sabine?
PLEASE KEEP THEM COMING!!!
Btw, if I hit yes when the forums asks me to say if that answer helped me or not, would that allow me to keep getting answers or should I say no? (First time in a blog ever!)
Yeah, I knew the story behind it but it really is the only name that has stuck since before I even got pregnant.
These many people liking it might help me persuade my husband who claims that because I'm not American I can't hear it the way he does. He thinks Sabine would be a name she might be teased for. Like a little bean, which I think is adorable!
