The straw that broke the camel's back

We added in Speech Therapy for DS2.  I had adjusted well to our schedule prior and was handling everything.

Adding in this extra hour has just sent me for a loop. I feel so overwhelmed and unadjusted.  It just feels like everything is too much and I'm constantly running back and forth.

We're now up to 5 hours a week of therapy for DS2, an hour a week of private PT for DS1 and DS2, and 12.5 hours of preschool a week (20 min away that we drive him to) for DS1

I just keep reminding myself that in 1.5 yrs they'll be in the same school at the same place at possibly the same time (they'll either start or end at the same time unless DS2 goes full day) and I'll finally get a well deserved break.
To my boys:  I will love you for you Not for what you have done or what you will become I will love you for you I will give you the love The love that you never knew

You are one busy mama! Wow!

I always told myself it will be 10 years before I can sleep in on weekends like I use pre-kid. That was when DS was born.

  • If we added therapies back in, which we probably should, I think it would send me over the deep end!
