Rear Facing Car Seats for Tall LO

We currently have a Britax Boulevard in my car and a Roundabout in DH's truck. DS's head is within 1" of the top of the Roundabout so we need to either turn him around or get another rear facing seat. I would much rather leave him rear facing. I thought about another Boulevard but he is only a few inches below the top of that so I don't think it would last as long as I want. I liked the Britax seats because they have a metal frame and the extra impact protection around the head.

What is a good car seat for a taller child who is still rear facing?

    I have a chicco nextfit that we still use rear facing. It has an adjustable head rest. I'm not familiar with the seats you have so I don't know if this will be taller than yours. My DD was 34" at her 18 month check-up, if that helps.
