V-Day Celebration! Also, I've lost my mind.

24 weeks today with these twins, and I feel like I should throw myself a party, or something.  Not that I have the energy.  Lilly and Liam are in the 40th and 50th percentile for a singleton pg, so they're doing well.  Cervix is good and long, according to OB, and I have to go take that stupid glucose tolerance test sometime this week - YUCK.  The nurse *destroyed* my hand, wrist, and arm on my last blood draw.  

Side note:  This pg has officially made me insane.  Yesterday after church, I wanted chicken salad sandwiches for lunch, so I drove to the community market - they were closed - so I settled for driving to Meijer down the street.  I drove around, with back pain, foot pain, hip pain, looking for a decent place to park, for several minutes.  Finally, I found a spot, and this guy totally stole it in front of me.  Normally, this is not a big deal - but I literally BURST INTO TEARS.  Yeah, I left Meijer, hungry and tired, and went the other direction to a small grocery with an awesome deli and hot soup I could sip on the way home.  And carrot cake.  Yum.  Today, I just feel like crying.  Nothing is wrong, I just want to sleep and cry.  But I can't sleep.  :P

    Congrats on 24 weeks!  And the great baby sizes!  I feel kinda crazy lately too.  I am not a big crier, but I have cried the last three days in a row (including already this morning, and it's only 10am).  Crazy pg hormones!

    Me: 42. DH: 46.

    1st Pregnancy: MC, 11/19/00.

    2nd Pregnancy: DS born 04/10/06.

    3rd Pregnancy: CP, 03/11.

    4th Pregnancy: MMC, D&C 11/30/11, Genetic testing revealed Trisomy 4.

    5th Pregnancy: Ectopic, 2 doses of Methotrexate unsuccessful, surgery 4/10/12, right tube removed.

    Tried Letrozole January 2013-July 2013 (including 2 IUIs), all BFN.  After 2 1/2 years of trying for child #2, decided to "give up" after July cycle, based on AMA.

    August 16, 2013:  BFP our first month of "not trying!"  Still in shock.  Beta #1 (14dpo): 183.  Beta #2 (17dpo):  611.  Ultrasound 8/30/13: baby measured 6 weeks, 1 day, heart rate of 118 bpm! 
    Ultrasound 9/13/13:  8 weeks, heart rate of 176!
    Baby is due 4/26/14

    Congrats on v-day!! Love your babies' names...so cute! I'm a crier to begin with (ive cried out of hunger when i wasnt pregnant) and surprisingly have not cried much this pregnancy, but I have gone ape-shit crazy on people who piss me off when usually I bottle things up. It's been pretty liberating!

    Congrats! And yeah the hormones make me crazy too- lots of crying meltdowns over the past months and now that I'm at the end (due tomorrow) I'm super cranky for no reason!
    Me:30 low AMH; DH:30 MFI (count, motility, morphology)
    2 rounds clomid 100 mg -BFN
    IUI#1- 25 mg clomid- July 2012= BFN!
    IUI #2 August = BFN!
    IUI #3 September = BFN!

    IVF #1 November - converted to IUI #4 due to poor response = BFN
    IVF #1.2 February- converted to IUI #5 due to poor response = BFN
    IVF #1.3 April- micro dose Lupron flare with HGH; 14R, 13M, 11F! Transfer of 1 day 5 blast on 4/30, 4 frosties. BFP! Beta #1 9dp5dt= 179; Beta #2 11dp5dt= 442; Beta #3 4106 Stick baby stick!!

    | Married since 2008 | DH and I: Both 30 | Me: Endometriosis and Carrier of an X-Linked Dominant Genetic Disorder | DH: Low Morph | Planning IVF with PGD and PGS in 2013 | Freeze-All IVF #1: March 2013 ER 3/26. 29R, 12M, 11F. 4 5AA frozen blasts. Freeze-All IVF#2: May 2013 ER 5/15. 31R, 21M, 20F. 6 5AA frozen blasts. Our PGD probe was completed in late June (total of 20 weeks to develop). PGD and PGS Results came on 6/19: 3 healthy embryos (normal chromosomes and unaffected by my family's genetic disorder). FET #1: July 2013 Natural Cycle - Cancelled due to insufficient lining (only got to 7.5mm). FET #1.2: August 2013 - Medicated Cycle with Lupron & Estrogen Patches to build up lining. Single embryo transfer was 8/23. Beta #1: 240! Beta #2: 578! U/S on 9/19 at 6w4d: We saw the heart beating at 131bpm. Second U/S on 10/4 at 8w5d: We saw the heart beating at 178bpm. EDD 5/11/2014

    Thanks for celebrating with me ladies!  It's also nice to know I'm not the only crazy hormonal one.  I thought I was in the clear as I haven't really had issues yet, but apparently I was wrong.  :/  
    At least the babies are healthy, even if Momma is crazy.  I occupied myself today by (no, not working...although I probably should have been auditioning all day) sorting and washing adorable newborn outfits!  I guess I've bought a lot more than I thought, but I still need more pink!  My DH also came into the nursery today and said we needed to get a bookshelf in there and start stocking it with childrens' books to read to the babies.  It was about the sweetest thing I've ever heard.  <3  Love that man.

    Congrats on V- Day!  that's a milestone that I am certainly looking forward to as well!  most of my meltdowns and sobbing episodes so far have been over feeling so crappy from the nausea/vomiting. However, the last one was over a book I was reading - it was a sad part of the book - but when I would usually just tear up, I was fully sobbing while DH slept next to me.  good thing he took nyquil that night.  I've never had hormones like these!!

     Me (34)- no issues found MH (36)- MFI due to Vericocele. Straight to IVF w/ICSI 9/12, Antagonist. 9R, 7M, 5F = BFN c/p,  New RE for IVF #2- 1/13., Long Lupron. ER on 1/22 -10R, 9M, 9F. Transfer on hold due to overstimming. FET in Feb. 2 frozen blasts. Another BFN & another c/p. RPL testing all negative besides MTHFR gene, vericocle repair surgery 4/12/13-Bilateral Grade 3 Vericocele found & fixed, IVF #3 with PGS  4/13- 11R, 9M, 9F. Transferred 2 normal=BFN, 3 normal on ice. CCRM-here we come! ODWU-All test results normal. EPP in August. 21R, 20M, 19F. 12 blasts biopsied & frozen for CCS testing. Results showed 11 normal! FET Oct. 30. 2 5d 4AA blasts transferred. First ever BFP!!! Beta 1=216, Beta 2=870 1st U/S=It's TWINS!!! It's a BOY and a GIRL!! Everyone Welcome!!!

    Me: MTHFR, Low AMH (1.1), High NK cells and Antiphospholipid Antibodies.
    DH:MFI-Low morph (1%), DNA fragmentation: Excellent!
    5 rounds of clomid, 3 IUIs, and multiple non-medicated cycles- BFFN                                                      
    IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies.  ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI  ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts. 
    + HPT at 6dp5dt. #1 (8dp5dt)- 105    #2 (13dp5dt)- 510  #3 (15dp5dt)- 960  #4 (17dp5dt)- 1889
    Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy.  Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!
