loosing faith in humanity

So my sister and i go grocery shopping together every week. Its just our thing.

So today were at target with all three of our boys. I have ds strapped into the cart, hes able to sit on his own now so i do that instead of lugging around the bucket. Im walking through the interesection of isles and THIS BITCH T-BONES MY CART! And not a light oops didnt see you there but hard enough if i hadnt been holding my cart it would have tipped over. She hit my cart so hard it lifted off the ground.

So now my little boy is screaming cause hes scared and instead of apologizing this bitch gives me a dirty look. Are you fucking kidding me? Then i get up to the register with my sister and were talking and the clerk looked at the kids and my obviously pregnant sister and makes this awesome comment.

"Wow going for a baseball team you two?" We looked at each other then looked back at her, and my sister very nicely pointed out that her and i are sisters.

But now im in bed snuggling my little man whom is taking a nap.

Wow, some people. I think I would've lost my shit if someone hit my cart that hard if DD wasn't with me. Not sure what I'd do if she was actually in the cart!

  • I think I would have gotten myself in trouble over that cart thing. I have rage reactions over things like that.

Despite the stupidness of someone assuming two women in line together are a couple, since when is it a big deal to have four kids?
  • Yeah i almost lost it i had to walk away or id be in hand cuffs.

I also want to know what the big deal about the four kids was. And why she feels the need to comment. Sometimes people just need to learn not to say anything.

Also, why would you automatically assume were a couple based on us standing there talking?

  • I'd have definitely lost my shit over the cart thing.  Especially after the dirty look.  People need to mind their own business.  Seriously.
  • Yeah. And learn some manners.

  • LOL, people are awful sometimes aren't they? When DD was a baby, a waitress dropped a steakknife as she was walking past and it missed stabbing her by like, an inch. She was just like, "whoops!" and picked it up. I yelled after her, "YEAH, TRY HARDER NEXT TIME." She didn't get a tip.

My sister and I live together with our three (her seven year old and five year old, and my five year old) and we get a lot of looks/comments like that. I'm pretty sure our neighbors think we're a lesbian couple, esp. since we look nothing alike.
