jolly ranchers, also after (and still) I got mine off I could feel and tarter build up on my teeth and became obsessed with brushing my teeth. I always have a tooth brush handy. Anyone else have this experience?
I was worried about discoloration but when I had them off for 3 glorious weeks at my wedding and it wasn't too bad.
I also really look forward to flossing!!!!!!
They let you get the braces off for your wedding? That's awesome! I've never heard of that before. You must have a great orthodontist.
I had braces in 4th grade and like @libberluru I remember running my tongue across them. I couldn't believe how much room there was and how smooth they were.
@PSNLS The orthodontist told me originally that it would only take 18 months to get done (hahaha) and I asked "what if I get married?" he asked if I was engaged and I was not and said so. He told me it would be his 'wedding present' to me if I did.
Well life changes a lot in 7 years! I started my career in the 'big city' quit, moved out to wine country, bought a house with my boyfriend, got engaged, married and had a baby all with braces!
I am so happy today! Thanks for letting me rant (happily) here!
