8 hrs!! Huge AW!

Ho-ly shit! Kainoa just slept 8 hrs in a row! I'm in total shock right now! I know some of you may want to punch me in the face, but his norm is 2-3 at most. I had to go attention whore on this one! This is the most exciting thing to happen since his birth. I finally started using a fan as white noise, so I am hoping that is the secret and this was not a fluke! I don't know how to gif but this sums up how I feel right now!! Have a great day ladies, I know I will!

    My lo started this as well. He doesn't do it everynight but I'll take what ever he gives at this point. Dh gets up with me everytime lo feeds even though I breastfeed and he can't help. we are both enjoying getting a full cycle of sleep. Have a great day! :-)

    Its amazing what a few hours of solid rest will do....its like chicken soup for the soul. :)

    My LO slept 8 hrs for the first time last night too! He's normally a 2-3 hr guy. Scared me when I woke up at 2am and he hadn't make a peep. I had to put my hand on him to see if he was ok. I as scary as it was I hope this wasn't a fluke.

    Same here! I woke up freaking out when I looked at the clock! I went to the bathroom and came back to him looking up at me with a HUGE smile on his face. Moments like that almost make you forget how rough the first month is...almost.

    Jealous.

    Everytime Evie sleeps for 5 to 6 hours and I brag about it, she reverts back to her 3-4 hours stints. I'm going to keep my mouth shut. 

    But I am happy for you. I'm SO looking forward to the day this happens in my house!

    Awesome! Avery has done that a couple of times, but his norm is 6 hours...which is still awesome! DS1 was a terrible sleeper, so I'm very thankful DS2 is better!

    Man I wish I could get 8 hrs! We get 5 hrs every now and again and I'm thankful when that happens.

    It's so amazing what sleep can do for your mood! My LO has been consistently giving me at least 6 hours every night, a lot of 8 hours too, for the past week and a half! I am still shocked by this and keep thinking he's going to revert back to only going 3 hours but so far so good! *knock on wood*! I hope your LO keeps up with the sleeping as well!
