Soaked a pad tmi

So I was sitting on the couch nursing little man & talking to my mom & it felt like I peed my pants. I handed him to her & excused myself to the bathroom & checked. I had bled through an entire pad, my underwear, my jeans & onto the couch in a matter of 10 seconds. I haven't bled for roughly 2.5 days (13 days pp) I didn't call dr because it stopped right after that & hadn't happened since. But, holy buckets that was a little scary to see that much blood. Just wondering if that had happened to anyone else? If it happens again I promise to call

    Hasn't happened to me but I would still call. My Dr advised me to call if I soak through a pad. Even if it lessens up. Would be worth a phone call even if all they tell you is to monitor it.

    I would call as well. A couple of weeks ago about a week after the baby was born my bleeding had stopped, but then started again and appeared to be heavier. I then passed a large clot and had to go to ed. I was placed on antibiotics as they though I had an infection in my uterus ( I had an induction and had my waters broken) so this may have contributed. Are you feeling a bit off at all?

    Has it continued? Any pain? Fever? My dr. Said if I did soak a pad, to put my feet up and wait to see if it would happen again. He said level of activity/being on your feet/ lifting etc. can all play a role in bleeding. I would still put a call into my dr., just in case. Keep us posted!

    Sorry for delayed update. No bleeding since then. Their office is closed today due to holiday but I will follow up with them tomorrow. No fever a little more sore & pressure down there can't really pin point where. I can't say I was more active yesterday either.
