January 2014 Moms

I have a theory...

...On why our LOs like to sleep during the day and be awake at night.

Before they were born, they were in a dark, quiet environment. Then they were born into a bright, loud world. I think it's just a way to help their senses adjust. The closest thing to the womb is night.

I keep reminding myself, things do get better :)

  • I'm just holding on to the hope that this doesn't last forever. DD grunts constantly so I can barely get any rest during the day! She's lucky she's cute and i love her. ;-)

  • I swear mine does it on purpose.  He takes his night feed, closes his eyes, pretends to go to sleep.  Then he waits while I carefully put him down in his bassinet and climb into bed.  He gives me five minutes to drift toward sleep, then starts crying.

I swear we did this five times between 3 and 4 in the morning last night.
