I'm totally okay with my kid being gay, now if you told me that drinking, smoking, and stress would cause my kid to be born with a severe case of bitchassness (like all these GBCBers), then I'd totally refrain from all of the above.

Otherwise, I totally enjoyed my glass of Sangria on Turkey Day with my favorite old guy.

I don't get why people are so worried about their kid growing up to be gay. Maybe it's the way I was raised - tolerant. I couldn't give a rat's ass if my child turned out to be gay. As long as they were happy. They can still get married and have children and they're not going to get the aids (dun dun duuuuun)!

Now I'm sure there's a direct correlation between stress and me eating all the food.

My reaction to this was incredibly immature. Also, the Daily Mail has a true gift for finding the most sensational and fear-mongering stories to publish.

In all honesty though, I'll love my little girls whether they're gay, straight, or otherwise, just as long as they are happy.

Well I have been feeling super stressed over my pregnancy and health lately, so I guess my baby will have a case of "the gays". No biggie, but I'm glad scientist Dick Swaab let me know the chances in advanced.

As if I didn't feel overwhelmed enough, now I need to go buy some purple paint ...

Oh goodness.

I read (like 10+ years ago) that pot use during pregnancy feminized male fetuses due to certain hormones. My college boyfriend's Mom used pot while pregnant and he used to joke about this because he was a little feminine, but not gay. There is also a chromosome abnormality that feminizes males (XXY), but it doesn't make them gay. I think they are more likely to have extra breast tissue, small testes and a host of other issues...but still not statistically more likely to be gay.

edit: my point is that if an extra X chromosome doesn't influence your sexuality, I doubt stress does.

@IBackBevo - Pot contains oestrogen, so some long time male pot smokers actually start to develop breasts. I don't know how it would affect a fetus though.
