2 losses in 5 months :(

I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks and got pregnant again and ended up miscarrying at 5 weeks. The doctor said this time it was a partial molar. I have never heard of this. Has anyone experienced this? Is it hard to get pregnant after having one?

I'm so sorry for your losses, I also had a m/c at 9 weeks, then another at 5 weeks, which I'm just going through now, but I don't have any experience with molar/partial molar pregnancies. I know at least one poster mentioned having a partial molar, I believe it was @this+gamer+chick. I hope you get the answers you're looking for.

I'm sorry for your losses. As for the partial molar you need to talk to your doctor. Usually there's a 6mo to a year wait on getting pregnant again & lots of bloodwork follow ups are done.

It also may be beneficial for you to see a reproductive endocrinologist at this point. I was referred to one after having 2losses in 6months. Discuss this with your current doctor also.

I am so sorry! I know what you are going through because I lost 2 pregnancies in a 5 month period. I lost my first pregnancy August 5th and I was due in March 2014. I lost my second pregnancy January 18th and I was due at the beginning of September 2014.
I really want a baby, but I am scared to death it will happen again. I definitely want some answers first.
It helps to know I am not alone. I hope we both get our answers and a happy ending soon. Hugs
