Need help figuring out an announcement!

With all the football talk today, I think I came up with an awesome announcement idea. I have two boys already and we are due in June(obvi). I was thinking "We are going from man-to-man coverage to zone defense this summer" but I have no idea what kind of picture to put with it. Or if any picture, just to see who gets it. Plus, not everyone "gets" football references. I don't know. Any ideas? Opinions?

    To me that is more of a basketball reference than football, but I'm not a big follower of either.

    I assume you have 2 LOs already? You could take a picture with a football or basketball between them with the phrase on the top and something like "baby #3 coming June 2014" at the bottom of the picture. Or for basketball it could be cute to hold the ball over your belly and say something similar.

    Sounds cute no matter what!

    I wouldn't get it. Not being a person who watches sports much, I would be really confused. Sorry I'm not helpful, but wanted to be honest.

    This is what I read: 

    We are having orange gauze smash against melted maroon Hondas this summer. 

    I.e. it made no sense. But I'm sports-illiterate. You know your audience. That said, i can't really help with the visual representation because I don't understand.

    Okay, I'm sort of sports-illiterate, but after thinking about it for a while, I *think* I get it...

    Going from man-to-man coverage means you have two parents, and two kids, so you can each "cover" one. I'm guessing "zone defense" means that two people from one team have to work together to "cover" more than two people on the other team.  Right?      Please don't laugh if I'm wrong.  

    If most of your friends/family would "get" that reference, then go for it!  I don't really follow sports, but I know my extended family would LOVE something like that.  The thing is, you'd need a really clear and strong visual to go along with it, to help out the sports illiterate among your friends.  You could take one picture of you and your SO each hugging a child.  On that picture, you could put the words, "We're going from man-to-man coverage..."  And then take another picture of your two boys, and maybe have an extra onesie/jersey by them with you and your DH of to the side looking ready to take them all on.
