Made a smart play tonight and had DH watch and hold LO while I slept from 11 to 1. May be the only day I can do it but dd was cluster feeding tonight so nervous I was in for another night like last night (up from 1 to 4). So now wide awake. At least I won't be mad if I don't make it up to bed till 4. How u ladies doing?

I'm another one that nursing isn't going well, so I'm having to pump. Well, today I overdid things, so I was asking for more help. It was more than DH could take on no sleep. Sigh.
Today was also our first day with all the kids.

I think what makes this tiredness so bad for me is the knowledge that it isn't short term. Yes in a few more weeks our LOs will sleep through the night,, but it's hard not knowing that end date! It's not like I know that I just have to make it to next Thursday and then I can sleep. You know?
Any way, DS is nursing now after pooping mid boob into a clean diaper too! DD does the same. She will wait for a clean diaper to poop. Drives me crazy! Oh well, I signed up for 2u2.
Just finished feeding, snotsucking, and bouncing/walking out the gas and fuss. Now LO is wide awake but she is too cute!
Tonight has been a great night for Landon waking up every 3.5 hours... The problem is it's bacause we let him sleep between us! We have a long bed so the set up is safe I'm just worried we've already created a bad habit. My husband says we should do whatever works and I'm obviously loving it. Tomorrow we'll get him back into his RNP next to the bed. This all coming from the mom who swore up and down her baby would be in the crib in night 1.
I think the babies conspired on the pooping thing today. DD pooped into a clean diaper, then as I was changing it peed into that clean diaper, but I wasn't done closing up the diaper so it got on her clothes and I needed to change those too!
In DH vent news, yesterday multiple times he mentioned how tired he is. This guy has it MADE, I am downstairs with the baby and haven't slept more than 2 hrs at a time in 2 weeks. He's upstairs in the bedroom where he has gotten at least 7 hours of consecutive sleep the last 4 nights. X(
I have been letting LO fall asleep on me and when she is in a deep sleep I will transfer her to the swing or crib very carefully. She used to cry every time she woke up in the crib, now she only cries sometimes. I have gotten to the point where I can put her in the crib in a semi-deep sleep or light sleep now. The swing is easier because it is more upright and it rocks. Good luck, I hope you find something that works!
ETA you can also try warming the crib/PNP/bassinet with a heating pad before putting LO in. Haven't tried it as there is no convenient outlet by the crib, but I have heard success stories with it.
So hi!
