overdue moms...how overdue were you?

I was given two different due dates by two different docs... 1/18 and 1/20. I've been at 4cm for 4 weeks now with not much else change. both of my boys were born on their due dates so I've never had to explore looking past the day. I have an appt scheduled for tomorrow and am not sure what to expect. I don't think I'd want my membranes stripped (google results seem to say painful and not really effective?)

So I was just curious how it went for you once you got past your due date.

I was with my first 4 days early . Second around 10 days late. Third and fourth the stripping worked immediately ! Fifth about 4 days after stripping. Currently I am 40 weeks 3 d. I also have doc app tomorrow . Just regular check . No stripping . Thursday doc will do an other scan (if I am still preg???!!!) good luck to you. It's "waiting game time" , get about 15 calls a day currently , from curious family and friends !!!!

DS1 was 9 days late and DS2 was 4 days late. Stinks but that's why EDD is an estimate.

I'm at 40w5d but had my sons at 37 and 36 weeks so I'm feeling like I'm going to scratch my eyeballs out with frustration. had my membranes swept last week and nothing. I'm also at 4cm. Fun isn't it?
Just a note to let you know you aren't alone. Hoping we both go into labor today. [-O<

I went to 41w 5d with my first before being induced for low fluid. It's up to you whether you want to wait it out or have your doc try to speed things up.

First full term baby but I was overdue by six days before being induce for basically being a high risk pregnancy.

This is baby #5 for me and my first time being overdue. 40 weeks and 3 days today. I typically deliver around 37 weeks so I'm dying and feeling like she's never coming out.

I made 40 weeks this past Thursday...my cervix was fully closed then so I couldn't even get a sweep. I will get induced next Sunday if nothing happens..

I also had two due dates. 1/11 & 1/15, but my doc always used 1/11. CJ was born at 2 am on 1/16, so I was either 1 or 5 days overdue

Had Ds2 at 40w3d. Don't discount membrane stripping...if your body is ready then it can be very effective and I didn't find it painful.

I had it done with DS2 and was in labor 12 hrs later. With DS3 I had it done and my ctx jumped from every 10-20 min to every 3-4 min within 30 min. Within 1.5 hrs I was in full labor.

I just had my first baby and at my 40 week appt. I was only a 2.5 cm and 80 percent effaced. So I waited until my 41 week appt. for them to strip my membranes, if I haven't already gone into labor. So they did at 41week And I ended up going into labor the next day at 41 weeks 1day. , I don't think hurt but a little more uncomfortable then a cervix check, just pressure.

My first was born 10 days after my EDD. 9 days after is when my water broke, went in right away, and nothing happened. So that afternoon needed pitocin.
