Stomach Pains

Have any of you been experiencing stomach pains? I have a constant stomach pain all the time. Like sometimes, I can barely even stand up. It hurts to drive. I have to lift my keg with my hands to push the breaks. Nothing seems to help it. I have no idea what it is. I am 19 weeks and I am not showing yet---at all. Baby is all in there though! Just saw him this week. I have a smaller frame, but I am tall (5'7). Does anybody know what these stomach pains could be??

Oh my... that doesn't sound good... you shouldn't be so uncomfortable. I haven't felt anything like that, so I'm sorry I can't help, but I'd encourage you to call your doctor and/or visit urgent care if your doc is unavailable because it seems you're so debilitated. Have you tried calling your doctor yet? Thinking of you. Keep us posted.
  • I would call your doctor ASAP. That's not normal.

  • Wow that sounds scary! I'm just at 18 weeks and I've been having some stomach pains as well but they feel more like a painful stretch or pull. I would give your doctor a call..good luck I'll keep you in my thoughts
  • Have you been having issues with constipation or gas?  I find that on my "bad" days, I have some discomfort, however, it's not bad enough to interfere with my day to day life.

The pain you describe seems to be worse than that though.  Please contact your doctor.  It could be something as simple as digestive issues, but only your dr would know for sure.

  • I have also been experiencing reeeeeaallly bad stomach pains as well. Mostly it's located in my actual stomach. It is so painful I have to lay down. Thank God it is usually at night after work. I went to my doctor and he said it is caused by stress and is most likely stomach acid. I would just talk to your doctor and see what they say. Hope you feel better!
  • I had some pains in my stomach around week 16 and the doc said its normal. They recommended doing stretches when you are on all fours and arch your back like a cat up and down. I've also noticed prenatal yoga helping with this- try it on YouTube and see if it helps!
  • So sorry you stomach hurts, that is no fun. I would try drinking more water and see if that helps.  I have dehydration issues and the first thing to start hurting is my stomach. Feel better :)

  • Call your doctor right away.

It could be nothing - round ligament pains or constipation - or it could be something that may need immediate care. Pregnant women can dismiss pain caused by appendicitis as a pregnancy symptom. Call your doctor so they can eliminate anything potentially dangerous.
