How does your lo let you know he/she wants to eat? Avery has started running to the kitchen and standing at the fridge or she will point to a cabinet. I don't mind her showing me what she wants, but some days she'll take 2 bites of something and then want something different. She throws a fit if I tell her no.

Mira says "eat, eat" or will go stand by the gate that blocks off the kitchen or stand by her highchair. She will point to foods and say "that" or if I offer a food and she doesn't want it she'll say "No!". She says "water" and "O's" (cheerios). She knows the signs for "more", "please".

Tumaini will usually go get her bib, or will go up to her highchair. If she wants water, her sippy cup is usually always at the same place and she'll come get me and point to it.

Yes, DD will also run into the kitchen and point at the cupboard. She also says "more" and started saying Caca recently which means cracker to her.

DS says "cracker" if he wants a snack or "water" if he wants a drink. Lately he wants fruit as a snack and it varies between "nana" (banana) or "memmon" (melon). He'll also demand breakfast ("beh-fess") in the morning and run to his booster chair.

Lola just goes and drags her highchair around the house to wherever I or DH is. Then she'll stamp her feet and stomp over to the fridge and pull on the handle. If we ask her if she's hungry, she'll usually then sign for "eat."

Dagny runs to the pantry and says "nack". Or she will try and get into her high chair.

Frankie does the sign for eat and will go to his high chair.

He signs more, or goes to his high chair, or tries to reach something on the counter.

Camden will go to the cabinet and grab the puffs, goldfish, cereal or oatmeal and bring it to me. Everything else is out of reach. He will also tell me "boosh" for juice if he wants his cup, Cortlandt calls all sippy's juice no matter what is inside so now Camden does the same thing.
