Pupps...tormenting itch

38 weeks 1day and this Pupps rash is taking over. Started on belly, now legs arms, ankles. Tiring everything. Aveeni cream, hydrocortisone cream, oatmeal baths, even benedryl. All just temporary solutions that don't help me especially at night. I'm thinking of asking doctor this week if he can induce as I read that's the only way to cute. Thoughts, advice?

Re: Pupps...tormenting itch

  • I used calamine lotion, the pink poison ivy stuff, with this PUPPS go round, and it really helped! Also, my OB wouldn't induce just for PUPPS so I wouldn't put too much hope in that. Also, to continue being Debbie Downer, my PUPPS flared again the few days post birth. Then it finally went away. Sorry. It really sucks :(

  • Grandpas pine tar soap and Sarna lotion helped me with mine. I also am experiencing PUPPs post delivery... Hoping mine will clear up soon

  • Coconut oil at night and (pure) vanilla extract on a cotton swab worked for me

  • Thank you ladies. Got calamine lotion and I dandelion root capsules that I red about before I saw these posts on coconut oil. That will be my next purchase if this doesn't work. I really hope it doesn't spread to my breasts post delivery as I want to breast feed
