  Heh, Lyra is the opposite...not interested in crawling at all, but has the pincer grasp down, so I have to watch her like a hawk to make sure there isn't anything small within range.

  Uh....crawling? Wow! Mine used to be able to roll form back front to back and doesn't really even do that anymore!

  DS is so close (gets up on all fours, rocks, lunges) and can slither (army crawl) and roll everywhere.  We keep stressing to DD the importance of cleaning up her stuff so he doesn't eat it.  Not ready for this!

  Mine is the same except that he grabs everything. We had to move all picture frames, decorations etc and baby proof everything. At his 6 month appt the pedi said to babyproof now and I kind of eye rolled like he's got time. Crawling the following week. The adventure continues!!

  We have crawling and pulling up. Absolutely nothing is safe anymore. I caught her in the dog food the other day when I turned around for 3 seconds. What am I going to doooo????

  When my daughter was little she definitely ate dog food. So gross!!

  Really? I'm surprised to hear that from a STM! )  I'm thrilled that mine is still easily contained! )
  
  I find it easier when the kids get going... They can follow you from room to room as you're doing house work. Everyone told me it would be so hard once Marnie was crawling, but I loved that I didn't have to pick her up and carry her all the time.
  
  It could be that I'm just super lazy.

  DS is starting to scoot on his butt. Slowly he can get across the room. He also reaches for stuff while sitting and puts himself in a crawling position that way. But if I put him on his tummy he just lays there, lol. Or rolls to his back.
