I have noticed this week that immediately after i orgasm, my belly gets hard as a rock where the baby should be. It feels like a grapefruit. My hubby laughed and said that she is making a baby force field. Not sure if i should be concerned, and likely too embarassed to ask my dr when i meet her (plus i have more important ?s to ask to be honest). Its not painful but its pretty obvious she is reacting.

Anyone else experience this or something similar?

    This is totally normal. It happens when you're not pregnant, just a lot easier to feel now.

    Yep totally normal. Having an orgasm releases your body's natural oxytocin and causes your uterus to contract :)

    ditto PPs, but also if you have a concern that you're worried about, do ask your doctor. I don't mean call for every head ache but if you think it is affecting baby's health, it's important to feel comfortable with your doctor so you can ask questions. They have heard it all. 





    I'm not new. I just hate The Bump.

    Lol.. i have definitley felt my canal contract. But it usually feels more like a pulsing in my vagina. I forgot the alien being feeling when things you normally cant feel come to light

    Along these lines, when I orgasm, baby kicks really hard. I told my husband the other day it feels like he/she is telling me to knock it off. Husband found out (per the googles) that this is normal, so I'm not worried.

    I try not to snark much. Now put me in a room with my SIL and BIL and I'll whip it out in no time!

    Ahh so glad you asked this- the same thing has been happening to us and my husband thought the baby was trying to get away from him. Who knew even sex would be different prego! Glad it's normal!
