  I did not use a binder the first 2 times. I got one on sale this time so I will try it but honestly... I didn't want ANYTHING touching my stomach so I don't know if I'm going to like it. As for the actual incision healing, my doc told me to keep taking Motrin round the clock for several weeks- it reduces inflammation and she says it makes the scar pretty. Not sure if that's really true or she was just appealing to my vanity ;-). But I will say that my scar is barely visible so I'll be doing it again this time!   Loved the binder! It made getting around so much better especially stairs and driving. I got mine in the hospital.
  
  As far as the scar, I just used regular Aveeno lotion that I use after my shower on my legs everyday, nothing special. I'm 10 weeks out from c section 3 and it looks like it was never reopened.

  I am two weeks post csection. This time I had internal stitches and it looks so much better already compared to the staples with my first. I have used a binder since I came home from the hospital.
