It's cute and trendy, but NMS. I also prefer Cate at the first name, but I'm more traditional when it comes to names so that's just me.

Tatum is NMS, but I don't think it's a bad name or anything. I like Cate, prefer the Kate spelling but whatever.

Also, while I certainly appreciate what @JNerd is saying (and that most people agree) I'll say I don't mind the name posts and will generally play along. I love the BNB and you should definitely post there @aebutcher but much as I love it there I can understand that the same core group posts there and gives their opinions and sometimes it's nice to get other opinions too. Maybe I should have saved this for an UO next week!

Anyway, GL with your name decision!

It's your choice. How do you think it translates to a name for a teenager, adult, senior citizen? Those are the parameters we put any names through that we are considering.

I'm not loving Tatum but don't hate it. I actually really like the Cate spelling and always have for some reason. Maybe because I think Cate Blanchett is so gorgeous??

And I'm glad you posted the baby name question on here instead of the baby name board. I don't want to talk about names with a ton of new people, but I like getting to know the people on here and the names they are thinking about, even if the names are NMS.

Apparently it's too early for me, I read this as "if I HAD to use it it would be on a pony." I was like, no don't do that to a pony, poor pony.
