She made her appearance on 1/17 at 9:49pm. She weighed in at 8lbs 4ozs and is 21 1/2 inches long. She is healthy and perfect in every way!
The induction did not go so well. The cytotec that I was first given to ripen my cervix made me extremely sick. When the pictocin was started it was not do bad but after about an 1 1/2 the pain became unbearable. There was 9 attempts made between two dr's for my epidural. Once it was in place all hell broke out! My blood pressure tanked to a point to where they did not think I was going to make it. They were able to get me stabilized but then Lillian's heart rate bottomed out and we almost lost her. They had to then had to further raise my blood pressure to get her heart rate to come back. We almost had an emergency c-section but during all the crazyness of 3 hours I was able to go from being dialated at a 3 to a 9. The dr and midwife allowed me to try and go vaginally because I really did not want to have a c-section. After just shy of an hour of pushing and a battle the whole time to keep my blood pressure up we had our little girl. After she was out we had a few more issues with my blood pressure. Today everything is going well.... Mom and Baby are fine. She is totally perfect in every way! Sorry for the one long paragraph... Mobil bumping.
I will try to upload a picture when I get home because the mobil site won't let me add one.
