Daily Pregnant Girls thread?

Hey A13 pregnant moms, can we have a daily or every-other-day thread to talk about what's up? Cuz so far the S14 board is fine, but not what I'm looking for, and I already know and respect you guys.

Here's me: we're telling my parents today. DH thinks it is too early, and now that has me all freaked out and superstitious. I'm really tired,but other than that and occasional sore boobs, I really have no symptoms. We have our dating ultrasound on 1/27, and I'll know better after that, but I THINK I'll be 7 weeks on Weds (my last period was weird, so I'm really not sure... started, stopped for a few days... started again...).

What's up with everybody?

Love this ideas. I feel like I can't keep anyone straight on the S14 board and I NEED someone to talk to

So exciting about telling your parents. I almost did yesterday but I'm too nervous with my last u/s until I hear that strong heartbeat in 6 weeks. I don't think you're jinxing yourself by saying anything. Be happy you don't have many symptoms, I'm sure everything is going perfectly smooth. My boobs haven't been really sore much either... I continue to attribute this to the fact that even though I stopped nursing at 7 weeks I still produce a little milk. Our bodies aren't back to 100% pre-baby. As far as my pregnancy, I'm still sure of my dates and looked back and my ovulation due date matched up exactly with my lmp due date... So I think this LO is just slow to start. I've read that it's not uncommon and very likely to catch right back up. My morning sickness has been raging and I'm looking at it as a positive. My next appointment is on Feb. 28/ my sorta birthday (leap year) and if all goes well, we'll drop William off with my parents so DH and I can celebrate my birthday and he'll be wearing a big brother onesie. Seems so far away! Sorry about no paragraphs... Ipad bumping.

I didn't have much MS last time either, and it was later (around the 10-13 wk mark), but I can't really REMEMBER how I felt last time- other than insanely exhausted, and my boobs feeling like they were going to explode...

I'm just nervous. And have to hold myself back from continuing to pee on things. ;-)

I wasnt sick at all with my first pregnancy but this one I will feel sick to my stomach then its gone. I'm hoping that means it a girl since we have our little boy :-) My first dr appointment is Feb 7th. I think im about 5.5 weeks. Our dr dont see you ubtil 8 weeks which stinks. Were not telling anyone until 12 weeks but I would rather wait til 16. Its so hard not to say anything though. I like this board so much more then Sept.14 board and would like to have a discussion on here.

I'm thinking a girl for me too. Although morning sickness is about the same, I think, I'm way more emotional this time around. I font remember being quite as much of a crybaby first time around. I can't watch the tv ever anymore sigh out brewing in to tears! @JSS1002, as much a&d I try to remember, I can't quite remember what my symptoms were with Will either. I know I was crampy because I talked to the doc about it. I also know I was very tired and know my m.s. Started around 6 weeks but never was bad enough to throw up.... Can't remember much about sore boobs, headaches, or my emotional state though.

Maybe it's girl season! I am super tired lately as in I take my lunch in the car at work so I can nap for 10 min! I told my close friends this weekend. And they were very surprised. I never heard a congrats! It was kind of awkward but not horrible. I am telling my mom on wednesday and I am sick to my stomach just thinking about it. Sight. Idk why im so terrified! Let us know how it goes with your mom!

Try not to freak out too much (says the most feeling out person ever). You have had 3 healthy pregnancies. Your body knows what to do.

@jss1002 I don't think it's too early to tell parents I told mine right away!

@arshcm02 I'm sorry about the morning sickness.. I have no stmptoms over here except cramping which is making me nervous! Sounds like u should have a nice birthday!

@sol1790 I can't believe how far along you are already ..time is going way to fast! I haven't heard. Congrats from anyone except my mom ..it's kind of disappointing about my MIL and SIL reactions..it's kind of annoying

@grace0609 I agree with arshcm02 hand in there you will be fine it's going to be another healthy pregnancy!

As for myself..I'm 5w4d don't feel a damn thing except cramps..I'm so nervous after last month. I pee on sticks every few days! Today the positive came up instantly and severely dark ..not like that matters! I have an appt 1/28 just shy of 7 weeks try said possible ultrasound (I hope so) I'm feeling anxious about 2 under 2 but this is what we wanted!

Congrats to all of you ladies..

How many S14 ladies don't we have? I'm one too!

The dumb freak out questions are already annoying me, but Im cranky, so maybe that's why?

I have less symptoms than last time. My boobs aren't even sore. I quit breastfeeding one week ago and my milk hasn't dried up. It's frustrating and they leak. Ugh. How long does it take?

I'm 5 weeks today and we are telling parents tonight. I'm kind of nervous and excited.

My symptoms include gassy and I'm starting to get indigestion already. I'm tiring quicker too. Other than that, not much. Which Im not sad about.

I really hope it's a girl! I don't have any intuition yet, but I would guess boy if I had to.

Grace0609- I was the 30th last time and now the 21st. We could have October babies. I'd be okay with an Oct 3rd baby, that's Chad's birthday.

Sol1790- That's so exciting! Your AS will be here before you know it! What are you hoping for?

Arschm02- I never quit being emotional after being pregnant. I hope it's not two fold this time. My brain function never came back, either. Not a good sign! Haha

JSS1002- I peed on one of my wondfos because I didn't feel pregnant a few days ago. I felt silly, because if I would have not been pregnant, my period or something would be going on. Plus, I have about 45 tests left. Don't want to waste them!

Jaime52005- My cramping has finally gone away. It was worse this time. I really wanted to take something for it, but only ibuprofen works for my period cramps, and that's a no go.

I had cramping with Will and again this time. It's finally started to slow down and I'm 7w3d pregnant (according to ovulation and lmp) maybe closer to 6w3d (according to early u/s). I'm pretty sure that unless it's severe it completely normal.

I'm so glad you guys are on board with this thread.

Grace - I don't remember how old you are,but I'm 36 so I understand your AMA concerns...it freaks me out too, so that is why we wanted to have two back to back and be done (I'll have my tubes tied probably after this, since I have to have a c/s). However, I never thought I'd be able to pull it off while I was still 36... I "age up" in October.

WEll, we told my parents, brother and SIL-- it was super fun. We were all together today to belatedly celebrate my mom's birthday...she had said "no gifts, but there will be a prize for the best card!" Which is a rujnning joke in our family,because I ALWAYS have the best cards.

So I took their Christmas card from this year (my brother's kid + james in front of the Christmas tree), and put a stcker on the top that said "Christmas 2014" and then put a picture of a baby next to my brother's kids (my SIL is due with #3 next month), and a picture of a baby next to James...and said "Baby S. #2."

She didn't really get it -- so I just looked at her and deadpanned, "I'm pregnant." And everybody went nuts. It was super fun.

And now I have an excuse for being exhausted and fat and crabby. :-)

I'm totally on board with this thread. Fortunately I've been insanely busy this pregnancy because I have had no symptoms, which wasn't the case with my first two. Being busy has kept my mind off the worrying like crazy over the lack of symptoms. Fortunately now I am just starting to feel the baby regularly so that helps with the worrying.

I had the big anatomy scan last week and we are team green again so didn't find out the sex but I am DYING to know. We waited to find out with our first two and I was not this crazy to know. And I have one of each already so you would think of all the pregnancies the sex of this baby would matter the least but the suspense is killing me!

Is it bad that I wanted to start this thread and I'm not even pregnant?! I am done having babies and sometimes I yearn for another... I am living vicariously through your pregnancies (in a non creepy way) so please share the excitement! :-)

Great idea. I am 16 weeks and 3 days pregnant with another handsome boy!! I am extremely exhausted...besides that no complaints. My 9 month old is very busy.

JSS- I love how you told them!

We told Chad's parents tonight, as planned. Chad was supposed to just tell them, but instead he hugged me, rubbed my leftover fatty belly and asked them if they noticed anything different. What a turd! Haha. It took them a second, which was odd, because what else could it mean?! Then we all laughed.

ETA - I forgot to tell you how I told my parents. Doh.

With my mom and step dad I had them get on Skype so Logan could "show them something he learned". I had him sitting on a large chair with a dry erase board that said "Soon to be big brother. 9/21/14" sitting next to him. When they answered I had it zoomed really close so you could only see him. When I was ready I scooted back and showed the board. It was fun!
