Being in the research industry, I can't say I can put all that much stock in a study with only two 'test subjects,' but I found this amusing and interesting nonetheless.  My husband always jokes that he thinks DS is just putting on a show sometimes... seeing this on the news this morning gave him a big 'told ya so' smile :)

    There's a difference between an 11 month old crying and a newborn/infant crying. A lot of cognitive and emotional developments have taken place in those months. If your child is crying at this age, I wouldn't assume he/she is faking. They need something.
