Saturday plans

When J finishes the might poo session that's going on right now, we're getting cleaned up, I'm going to root through baby stuff for a regift, gather the 4 kiddos and head to a baby shower. Chiro for me and my strained ligaments, and then something family-ish with my folks.

DH is taking Messi for a much needed spa day..he's a very smelly dog right now. Later today we are headed to my parents house to celebrate my dads birthday. Tonight I want ALL the wine!

I don't have Saturday plans so much as weekend plans. We need to get a few things at Target (but probably Walmart because we have giftcards...), I need some alone time so I'm getting a clarifying treatment for my hair, church, organizing the nursery so she can actually sleep in her crib, DATE NIGHT tomorrow!

We're going out tonight spending the night in a hotel I'm tearing to leave DD although I know she is in the trusting hands of my mum.. So plan is dinner, get drunk, get freaky (SO words lol) go to sleep without being interrupted !!!!!

Well currently my older 2 kids are at the movies with my parents, LO is sleeping, and DH is at the gym, so I am enjoying a quiet house!!! But this morning I went to the gym and cleaned the house. SIL and her hubby are coming soon with pizza

Today we were supposed to go on a Jack Daniels distillery sampling tour. For DHs bday. But last night his buddies took him out and so he's been passed out in bed and I'm cleaning the house and trying to keep LO quiet. Very boring day, I might get the courage to drive out to Nashville and do some shopping. But I've never driven alone with LO yet and it makes me nervous just thinking about it.

Today was my first trip out of the house without LO! I went grocery shopping at Whole Foods and Walmart, my favorite combination ever. My husband had a deer in headlights look when he heard my plans, but he got over it quickly.

@Katemw, I must now add queso to my day. Since it's the weekend, DH took the night feedings and I actually got a full night's sleep. Even so, I think today is gong to be a lazy day and will involve some wine later. I cleaned the house a bunch this week, so I don't feel too guilty about it. SFFC: I used to be one of those people that thought SAHM had it kind of easy. I now feel like a total dumbass for thinking that.

Went shopping at the mall, had family pics done (all the grand kids) and my older girls are at the monster jam show. Plan on cuddling with LO tonight since we spent yesterday at Sea World and she was in the stroller most of the day.

We did the jack sampling tour on our honeymoon, it was only like 2 .5 oz shots... But still very interesting!! Was planning on more to drink but it's a dry county so that's all they can legally serve you!

The snow kind of changed plans.

D3 & 4 made me feel crabby because they were crabby ALL.DAY. So I didn't leave because I'm a wuss when it comes to driving in the snow even after 15 yrs (exactly- I landed at JFK 15 yrs ago today).

So I came upstairs, told them to give D4 a bottle if she was hungry, read for a while and napped. I feel like a better mom after that. Was not in a good place. Some days it's fine, and others, just need to step away.
