My four year old has both broken my heart and made me crack up today with her words. At LO's first feeding DD1 was pretending to talk on the phone to DH. She said, "Hey Daddy, how's Piper?" After he answered and said she was good and eating, she said "How about a little more attention, please?" I immediately started bawling :( We're trying not neglect the older two, but it is so hard to get a good balance!

Then she was watching me feed LO later and said, "Hey mommy, your boobie has a hole in the side!" (More like a crater, and it HURTS!) "And the top looks like a rice krispy treat!" Yeah, that's when you know your nipples are in bad shape!

    Mine is just beginning to talk more so we get a lot of funny random stuff. The other night at bedtime, he went on and on about a "scary blue bat" that was "on the house" (no bats here and none in his books or TV shows either-- where do they get this stuff?). He was very concerned about it until I told him that our kitties would keep the bat away and keep him safe.

    My stepdaughters (6 and 8) have just been asking a lot of questions about the baby (still inside) - How does the baby come out?  Will the baby be naked when he comes out?  Will the baby be covered in food when he comes out (since he's in my stomach, of course)?  Don't the babies come out of bellies with pink or blue hats on?  How will you know when the baby is ready to come out? 

    Some questions are easier to answer/explain than others :-)
