Sit ups are not good an excercises. They can separate your ab muscles more (which is the opposite if what you want after pregnancy!) I recommend planking and the like.
I hate sit ups, but Army. They like them. .
because it didn't fucking snow enough for me to build my own

I grew up an Air Force brat...and felt I was would/should join probably until I was a freshman. Then I realized how much I hated push ups...sorry Dad...

haha I hated running the most. By the end of AIT I fucking loved it. I really need to get a jogging stroller.

Yup abs gone, butt gone...I have literally no muscle anymore except in my arms which are forced to carry LO day and night. I got through half a post pregnancy workout video before I gave up. Tomorrow is another day....

at that time I didnt like to run...but it was more tolerable than push ups. But I also have issues with my wrists since gymnastics in Jr High.
I started taking classes at the local MMA gym and part of the workout is always ab work. My first class I just laid there and laughed. The teacher came over and asked me if I was ok, and if I needed her to explain the exercise again. I said,"What do you mean, I'm doing it right now - cant you tell?"
Weirdest feeling ever. The abs below my incision were working, or trying to. The ones above - nuttin.
I've been doing 5 minutes of plank (I divide it between plank and side plank), 100-150 kettle bell swings (15 lb) and some other exercises 3 times a week. Yeah, I can feel my abs.
They're under the fat somewhere...
@mystererae. Wow! I was fine with 30 and 60 seconds of plank. I struggled with 90 and at 120 I had to use my knees. ( you are rocking 5 min?! Go you!
I was just doing some planks and I have been doing 3 reps, adding a second per rep per day. I'm currently at 20 sec per rep.
"That doesn't look hard." He just did one for 2 minutes.
@NKaeding, tell him to put a bowling ball behind his abs for 6-8 months, have a surgical extraction or squeeze the bowling ball out of an orafice. Then tell you how easy they are.

@Eaglewife not all at once! I do 45 seconds twice on each side, then 10 seconds once on each side to get to 5 minutes. No rest in between. But I think I could do 60 seconds.
Well damn, @mystererae... I thought you were holding a plank for 5 minutes straight. Side planks are stupid hard, though. I haven't messed with those yet.
@eaglewife what is the 30 day plank challenge?
If you don't mind me asking how far in are you and do you see any results?
@Clyde013 - it's holding the plank pose for a set amount of time each day. I'm up to day 18. I definitely feel a little something happening in my torso, no real visible results, but it's nice to have some "exercise" happening again. I'll post a new thread with the details.
Lol @theblairwitch01 - best cartoon over. That's me doing any form of exercise. Though I did find an awesome under armor bra that kind of contains them.
Re: I just tried to do a sit up.....

@jackson290721, this seems reasonable.
S/O, I ordered 10 boxes of those bad boys this year.
Edit: They'll be in in March. My birthday is in March. I'm going to justify it to Mr. Vals by telling him they are my birthday present

For now I am happy if I can swim 15 minutes hahaha
