Talk to me ladies, anything exciting going on in your worlds this weekend?
My friend was stationed in South Korea & gets home tonight so were throwing him a party. Then Brayden & I will probably head to the Mommy and Me matinee tomorrow.
Breakfast at my parents on Sunday to celebrate the January birthdays... my mom, my brother, my SIL... haven't decided yet whether we are telling them about their next grandchild or waiting until after the u/s on the 27th.
@none5 I am a huge Hunger Games nerd & that movie was amaze. Wolf of Wall Street is one of the options playing at the Mommy and Me matinee (kinda weird huh) but it's a little over 2 hours so I don't know if I can hang. I heard great things about it though.
@jthree I loved the Lobster Indulgence course from The Melting Pot before I developed a shellfish allergy.

What?! I heard that movie is practically a porno! That is a very strange option for mommy and me

I also thought I read that that movie broke the record for the number of times they used the F word. Not what I would call kid friendly! yikes
REALLY??????!!!!! I had no idea, well Southern California is one of the most morally corrupt areas IMHO. Anchorman 2 was playing last week lol. My other choices are The Nut Job, Saving Mr.Banks, & Her.
Tomorrow the grandparents are picking up T for our second overnight ever! I go on an out of town wedding dress trip tomorrow and sunday is a kid bday party.
I heard Saving Mr. Banks was really good. Even though Jules wouldn't understand or know what was going on during the Wolf of Wall Street, I still don't think I would bring her to that! Who knows what she would absorb. Plus I would feel like everyone thought I was an awful mother! Haha
Edited to clarify because I type too fast sometimes.
Oops I meant morally corrupt. I totally know what you mean although I have to admit, he did accompany me to see Anchorman lol.

I'm still amazed my DS's first word wasn't the F-word! We had to really curb the potty mouths when he learned "oh Sh*t!" from Grandma though. He used it a lot, in the right context, with imflection.... sigh.
Anyway - weekend plans, yeah, not too much. We have a birthday party for my friend on Sunday evening we're going to, but DH is working all weekend, so it'll be pretty boring. I'm probably going to hire the sitter to stay with the girls for a few hours so I can have a "date" with my son at the park.
TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!
Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!
Tonight is family night, tomorrow night H and I have an wedding reception for one of my coworkers that eloped and since my mom and dad are watching A for that we are going to go out for our anniversary as well. Sunday it's supposed to be upper 50s here so I am going to take A to the park. I am so excited to get some vitamin D, I feel like a zombie.
And Monday I am off for MLK and I am going to take A to daycare for a few hours so I can get a massage and run a few errands then pick her up in the afternoon.
Oh and Saturday morning I am trying my first zumba class. Anyone who has done one before, what can I expect??
Tonight is family night and tomorrow night is my company christmas party. Sometime this weekend we have to go shopping for a new washer and dryer as they both crapped out on the same load of laundry on Wednesday. (
We live right outside of Philly, so we are going into the city to get my rings cleaned and then trying out a fried chicken place that we've never been to. I also want to make a stop in at Ikea.... I just love that place.
I've been to the melting pot once.... loved the cheese course and the dessert course. The actual dinner, eh...I could've done without. Next time we go, cheese and dessert only! Lol.
I couldn't agree more! They have a really good HH and its cheese and chocolate. yuuummm
@cmcmillan0901 I loved Zumba and I really gave no rhythm!! It's pretty early to catch on. We gave no plans for the weekend. We were hoping to have a double date of dinner and a hockey game with SO's brother and wife, but SO's mom couldn't babysit. So just hanging out at home tonight, tomorrow cleaning, cooking, and practicing shooting a gun , and Sunday football to cheer on the Broncos.
My weekend plan for this weekend includes trying to sleep past 7:30AM and hoping that he doesn't do his moaning whine all day like these past few days.
Cleaning house and errands Saturday, football with friendsSunday (GO Pats!!) aaaaaaaaaaaand Monday (MLK) Im cashing in my mother's day gift for a massage and facial, whoot whoot, cant wait.
Tomorrow aim hoping to go through my closet and clearing out what doesn't fit any more. I lost all my baby weight but I'm a different shape now. Haha. Sunday if the weather is half way decent we will help move our old washer and dryer into my sisters new house.
Flying to Chicago in the morning. The Promised Land. While there: art museum, new restaurant, playing in the snow, visiting family, and a bit of homework sprinkled in...
!
Warner, our early surprise, born March 12, 2013!
Watching You Grow Everyday, Right Before Our Eyes!
H leaves for Vegas first thing tomorrow. We did dinner tonight..and it's just me and G all weekend! We will be routing on our Pats...and doing our best Edleman poses...go #11!!!
We are in Cincinnati for DD1's gymnastics meet. To make it a fun trip we rented a car and got up there early and got a hotel room. We could have just drove from home to the meet today, but girl hates to get up early! We're super close to an ikea, but won't have time to go. I can't believe they don't open before 10am. Oh well.
If somebody thinks they're a hedgehog, presumably you just give 'em a mirror and a few pictures of hedgehogs and tell them to sort it out for themselves.-Douglas Adams
