Might be a stupid question...

But will I ever not HAVE to wear a bra?? I exclusively pump and made the mistake of wearing my pumping bra pretty much all day/night for the past two days but it's comfortable to me and I pump every two hours so it seems pointless changing bras everytime unless I'm going somewhere, and now I have a lump in my left breast, very tender and painful. I don't have fever/flu like symptoms so I'm assuming it's a plugged duct, probably from wearing my pumping bra. Oh AND I have thrush (currently being treated for it by doc)! Wonderful... Just wonderful..

Will I ever be able to let the girls free for a day? Shower time is the only time I do and even then I leak a little

  • I stopped leaking at 4 weeks and I pump every few hours. Hopefully you stop leaking soon :)

I know right?!? I am in LOVE, I was like a little kid on Christmas when I saw the man walking up with the package! Why do you think I've been wearing it non stop haha
  • Btw I totally apologize for another annoying breast post!! I was annoyed with myself typing it, but my curiosity got the best of me! Maybe one day we can move on from thrush and BF posts to "my kid just stuck a bean up his nose" posts. Then again.. Maybe i shouldn't complain...
  • No, I can never go bra free when breastfeeding because of leaking. I'm sure some people get to the point they can, but I'm not one of them. And I hate sleeping in bras!

  • I go bra less when I'm at home. DF laughs everytime LO starts crying because I leak so bad. Idc. I rock my wet tshirt because bras suck.
  • I couldn't go braless before getting pg because the ladies are on the huge side. I still leak 7 weeks pp, so I'll bet there's a lot of variation across our experiences. Hang in there and work out that plugged duct!

  • I just wear a tank top when I'm at home. I leak a little, but oh well. When I was leaking more, I would put breast pads in my tank top. That's way better than a bra.
  • I have the worlds most comfortable boob tubes that don't hurt my boobs but still supports them.

This is exactly what I do!
This for me too. Though the only time I'm leaking now is when I'm feeding DD and my milk lets down.
