DH and I are doing 2hr shifts tonight as both older girls have either allergies or colds, not sure which just yet. Nola is sounding a bit stuffed but if she's anything like her sisters and Dad her allergies (cause every damn thing blooms all flucking yr here in Vegas! ) are acting up. So we are sitting up holding her so she can breath more easily.
I don't understand why thi child is awake. She didn't sleep all day, working herself up to have the world's biggest poop before bed. I thought she'd be worn out and I'd get a good 3-5 hour stretch of sleep..

sorry your girls aren't feeling well. I dont know if this will make you feel better or worse, but our Pedi said babies this age are too young to have environmental allergies.
Up feeding. Ben will sleep 4 hrs in his swing but only 2 in his crib. Dh really thinks it's time to get him used to his crib, so we've been doing that, but getting up every 2 hrs is exhausting yo! Or am I not allowed to say that since I 'knew what I was getting into having a newborn' a la fffc?

I think it's something that varies with pedi's. Ours told us at our 2w check that here, it's common, due to the extreme dryness and constant dander/allergens for newborns to show symptoms of allergies (not sure that came out right but hopefully you get the gist).
If it is a cold not much I can do but ride it out. Thanks though.
Knock on wood, I have never snissed. I didn't have bladder control issues either. Don't hate.
I didn't after just one.
Funny story: DS1 and I were headed to the bus stop one day, and apparently the act of getting into my car was enough to make me.pee myself badly enough I needed to go change pants. Try explaining that to your six year old. Don't worry, he said. 'Aunt Leah told me sometimes pregnant people pee their pants.'
Kicker? He said he was going to 'tell all my schoolers you had an accident, but I'll tell them it's okay since you're pregnant.'
Please, no. For the love of God.

I'm up. I think LO ate too much and now has a little tummy ache so he doesn't want to sleep not on my chest. :-/
And DH is at work and has been talking to another dad who has let their kid CIO "and now she can calm herself down and understands bedtime" great. Now I get to explain why we don't like CIO.
Oh and he's in bed with me since 240. I'm such a bad mom tonight.
Not a bad mom. I'm considering trying to fall asleep with LO on my chest on the couch because I think he has a tummy ache. That's gotta be worse than cosleeping.
Nasty neighbor (explained in previous post) came home at 1130 and his car stereo was so LOUD that it woke me up. This continued for 15 minutes so I went out there to tell him to shut up and knocked on the window, and he was doing the down and dirty with a girl who was NOT his wife... I think I peed my pants. Been awake ever since, and that was 5 hours ago!
Eta: it's 4am, who can really spell correctly at this hour?!

Ugh don't you just love it when the men get together and have all these great ideas? I've been telling mine over and over that she's too young to CIO and every time he says "you are gonna have to let her some time." I swear if he lets her CIO while I'm gone I will hurt him.
Let me know how that goes with your H. Hopefully he understands after you talk with him.
He rolled down the window and said "I'm kinda busy here" while she was riding him in the front seat. I'm pretty sure my jaw was on the freaking pavement! I couldn't even speak I just turned around and awkwardly ran back into the house. Yikes! Now what the hell do I do?! I can't even look over there!! Ha

Up here, but not complaining..she just slept 4 1/2 hours! Hopefully going back to sleep will be easy, we have a long day with visitors and a birthday to attend.
I was going back and forth about telling the wife but finally decided I'm definitely going to. He has 3 kids so that's probably why he was in his car.. And I'm guessing his wife is away on business (she's been gone a few days now). He is such a freaking pig.
I'm up. I don't know what happened to my sweet son but for the past week, he has been a monster. He's impossible to put to sleep , really fussy, doesn't sleep long, ughhh. I've had to wake up DH twice in the past 2 days to get some help.
And I'm having allergy issues. I'm all congested and feel crappy. Damn cedar is killing me.
Got Nola to sleep. Of course on my 2hr shift she was wide awake. She took a huge crap, nursed for a hot minute then conked out. She's rigged up in the bassinet part of the PNP propped up on the boppy. I am now wide awake because I worry she'll wriggle down and suffocate. At least she's sleeping. Oh and our 2yr old wondered in our room wife awake. ah the joys of 3u3...but hey...I knew what I was getting into...lol...

Z has been stuffy too. I think it's because of how dry the air is. I can't suction out the boogies, they are too far up.
It's a bitch! I've tried saline, BM, suctioning, none of it is working. I think it's dry air mixed with the damn dog dander, they were inside a bunch today. Bah for all this dryness!

Dying at your pee story with DS1

Just gave LO a bath. She's finally fallen asleep, about to put her in the crib and pray I don't wake her doing so.
