@summer889 being induced today! update 2-baby boy is here!!!

My wonderful labor buddy, @summer889 sent this message about an hour ago:

"I went in for an NST this morning and found out my amniotic fluid is super low (they basically couldn't measure any) so they admitted me to L&D and it looks like I'll be induced today. They're still running tests, so I think this will be a long slow process, but the hope is still to have a pain med free vaginal delivery".

Please keep her in your prayers that everything goes well with the low fluid and she is able to have the birth experience that she desires!!!!

6:00 PM EST Finally started cervadil (5:45 PM). They expect it to take 12-18 hours to do its job, then will start pitocin in the morning. For now, she is just trying to get as much rest as possible.

Update 2: Baby boy is here!!!! Matthew Ryan was born at 1:07 AM on 1/19/14, weighing 6 lbs, 12 oz, and 20 inches long. t was a roller coaster ride with decels, 4+ hours of pushing, several talks of c-section, but she did it without the epidural and it turned into a beautiful experience. They couldn't be happier!!!!

Girl is a rock star to push that long with no pain meds!!!!
