calm before the storm??

What do you think old wives tale? or the real deal?

I've been having BH contractions like crazy the last couple days probably 4-5 an hour. Fast Forward to today, I've had very few and they seem less painful when they do happen. My mom says its the calm before the storm and that my body is saving energy for the big event. I also felt super tired and nauseous the last couple days and today I feel great. 

I hope its true because I'm tired of walking around feeling like I've got a bowling ball about to fall out.

    Yea, not so much into those either, baby will come when they want to till then they are going to do what they are going to do in there...no explantion for it :) How far along are you btw?
