DC teacher turnover

I know it's normal for daycares to have a lot of turnover, but I'm sad that several teachers are leaving. Today is the last day for one of DDs teachers and one of DSs teachers. I also just found out a teacher in another class is leaving too. I'm happy for them bc I know how hard it is to get school district jobs, but I'm disappointed to see them go. It makes me worry a little with so many leaving at the same time, but I think it's just coincidence.

    Most of them are recent grads with a degree in education. It is really tough to get teaching jobs in this area so many of them work in daycares until they can find something better. There are also a number of long term teachers at our center who have been there for many years. So I know that it's inevitable that many of the younger ones will leave. I guess it's the fact that it's the middle of the school year, I wasn't prepared for it. some left in September and I wasn't as surprised.
