Duct tape diaper - mil stories

My mil has been watching my son allllll day because I had an away basketball game tonight. I guess he ran out of diapers, but she had one that was way to big for him. Look at this picture she just sent me. I told you guys she was a little crazy.

Have your mils ever done anything similar?

    no, I cant say my MIL would ever do this but I can see my dad recommending something like this! Lol

    Could she not have ran to the store and got some maybe? That's terrible to leave him like that!

    Brody was born on September 23, 2013 at 6.33am weighing 8lb 14oz.

    How bizarre! She could have used a couple little pieces to tighten it up a bit, rather than tape it on him like that. Why did she send the photo?

    @sunshine2929 She could have even gone to our house to get some more diapers. We live just a few blocks away and she has a key.

    @ravenclaw1 She sent him home with dh with it still on! I'm sure he's waiting for me to get there so I have to do it.

    @cdmay2006 she usually sends a picture when she watches him, but I'm sure she just thought it was funny and wanted to see my reaction. I mean it's kind of funny, but I hate that he has duct tape wrapped around him.

    I would not at all be surprised to find LO with a diaper duct taped together by H sometime soon. We've been having problems with the tabs popping open at night because she thrashes so much. Whatever works!

    She is definitely quirky! But she has good intentions, and she actually does take good care of my son. lol.  She just gives me lots of good stories.

    My MIL grabbed the last diaper out of the bag and the tab pulled off. She duct taped the diaper on.
