  DD has had what seems like one long never ending cold.  And every time she starts to get better, it only lasts a day or two before she gets all stuffed up again.  Last night, her post-nasal drip kept making her gag and then she threw up after I nursed her and then cried because she was still hungry.  I hate that there is nothing you can do for a cold except wait it out, sit in steam, humidifier... I've done everything I can to get this cold out of her but it just keeps roaring back.  I guess the upside is that unlike some other babies I've seen, she's perfectly calm and happy.

  
  

  Oh, and not really baby related, my dad is pressuring and guilting me to get me to go to church with him.  He was trying really hard last night (there's a Wednesday service at the church he goes to) and he doesn't accept the fact that I don't go to church because some of the shittiest people I've ever met, I met AT THAT CHURCH.  People who do really bad, awful things and then say how righteous they are and how no one can compare to them.  How does one go to a church with people like that?  He really wants me to give DD a "proper Christian upbringing" but... again... I don't want people like that teaching her about "the love of Christ" and then going around doing shitty awful things. Ugh. UGH!  I wish he'd stay out of my business!  I talk about moving out and then he gets all pissy like he didn't ever expect me to move (I don't have any plans in the near future, I don't nearly have enough funds). And he tries to hang out with me and BF and asks about maybe taking a vacation together.  Because that's not weird or anything.

  @lurchbaby- sorry, that sounds kind of funny.  DD was in her high chair while I jumped in the shower this morning and proceeded to throw all of her breakfast on the floor and to the dog.  I think she looks over the side of her chair to see if it splats or something.  Yep, we're at that stage. 
  

  
  

  I am still fuming about my boss being a complete dumb fuck about my short term disability.  I was really really wanting to pay off my Jeep with my tax refund.  Not happening now.  

  
  

  DD is still on her antibiotics for the ear infections, is super congested so is getting a breathing treatment every 4 hours which makes her cough which hurts her ears, still not sleeping well because of the crud in her head, and now the antibiotics are making her little girl parts red and sore (yeast infection, I think).   Thank goodness I still have some of the ointment the doctor gave me from the last rash that made her butt raw.  She's a white hot mess and I feel awful for her.

  @Tig549 i dont trust her as far as i can throw her. But i trust bf... that and she does shit like this all the time and bf hates drama and catty chicks :-) also i hope your dd feels better soon.

  I met with my BD last night and he decided to spring on me some paperwork he wanted me to SIGN about 50/50 custody (I'm assuming so he doesn't have to pay as much CS.)  Laughable.  He travels for work 60% of the time and lives in a 150 sq ft studio apartment, uninhabitable by a child. Also, this is 7 days before my due date. I had to get up and leave. Too much stress. Get real. It was my very first "See you in court" moment of this entire ordeal.

  @tig594 it's weird to me because he wants to do so much with us "as a family" and doesn't give us space to have our own relationship.  It drives me nuts.  I'm also the baby of the family, so I feel like its extra hard for him to let me be my own person. Especially since now there is a baby he was to constantly be around.

  I was up all night first with a coughing baby, then with an ear-infection baby. Poor little guy  I'm glad my company allows me to WFH in instances like this, but having a sick, fussy, cling 10 mo isn't exactly the best circumstances for actually getting work done.   I'm ok, I think.  I feel like I'm coming down with the flu.  My dad was at the gym and he told me that I needed some carbs and sugar so he bought me a bagel and orange juice.  We left shortly after that.  I've got a bad headache and my ears hurt (so I wonder if I also have another ear infection) and now I'm achy all over.  BOOO! I can't get sick!!  (

  Well, after a strict diet of Ricola and Emergen-C (and a burrito from Taco Bell with LOADS of hot sauce) I'm actually starting to feel better.  I just have a scratchy throat now.  Maybe I'll spoil myself with some paneer tikka masala and naan bread tonight.  Fight fire with fire, right?
