New Medicine Question...

So I have acid reflux and since I have had hypermesis the whole pregnancy so far the doctor prescribed me Famotidine to see if that helps calm down my acid reflux. I hate taking medicine so before I take it I thought I'd ask if anyone on here has taken it while pregnant and if it actually works?

    Yes, many women have taken Pepcid and many other acid reducers during pregnancy.

    I took Pepcid all of my pregnancy with DS (even water gave me heartburn) and he's fine.....if you ignore that third eyeball and all. ;)

    I've taken pepcid this pregnancy and my last. Like pp said, the Dr wouldn't prescribe something that was harmful.
