Not sure what to do - surprisingly long

After two trips to the PEC this week - Monday for high bp and Wednesday for less movement I have had it. After appointment Monday, doc said they wanted me to come back Thursday for in iffice visit.

They fit me in with a doc I have never met and almost immediately disliked. She was like - well you have been to the er a lot, not sure why you are here now. I felt she was very dismissive and I felt like she was trying to rush - I literally had to stop her and say they told be to keep the appointment and i would like to discuss something's with you. I asked her to strip my membranes - did not work. I also talked to get about an induction - I said I wanted one for 40 weeks or as close as possible as I am at the end of my mental rope and seriously bursting into tears all the time.

She said she would email the scheduler to get it on for Friday, sat or Sunday next week. I called today and it has not been scheduled yet - I just want to know to make arrangements for dd. I hope not to need induction, but it is nice knowing there is an end date.

So finally my question, would you call the nurse? I know it will get back to doc who already thinks in crazy or wait until Tuesdays appointment knowing slots may fill up? She said they would discuss it at Tuesday appointment but I'm surprised it is not on calendar yet.

Edit: when they initially talked to me about induction - they just pulled up the schedule during my appointment and could see openings.

I'm not overdue yet. That is why this is being scheduled for 40 weeks or shortly after. As I said, main reason I'm doing this is because mentally I need an end date. After two trips to the pregnant er this week, one sent by docs and one because of low movement I'm having a hard time coping. I get everyone waiting is stressed, some of us handle it better then others.

I guess why I'm doing this is not my concern. My concern is if they are doing scheduling it. Again, I hope to not need it and go into labor naturally but if I am going ahead with induction, I need to make arrangements.

I don't wznt them to schedule so I can make a plan. They offered and I accepted. They offered to do it at 39 weeks and I declined.

I just sort if want to know when it is scheduled do that I can make a plan should it come to that

I think your best option is to start making the plans for your daughter for any scenario and keep your scheduled appointment, addressing your concerns again there. Don't let the doctor rush you or blow you off, you're paying her for her time.

Yeah, I made it clear I thought she was rushing me. When I told her there were things to discuss she slowed down. I think she was more surprised the er told me to keep my appointment
