Went in for my MFM appt yesterday morning to find out our Baby A (Brynlee) had fluid around her lungs that had progressed since our last appt due to possible TTTS. Was sent straight over to UC Davis for an emergency c section. Once we got to the hospital our OB decided it would be safe to induce labor since both babies were head down and weren't showing any signs of distress. I was thrilled!! I was really pushing for a vaginal birth. Got induced around 3pm on the 15th and had the girls vaginally the next morning on Jan 16. Brynlee was born at 10:05am weighing 5lbs 12.4oz and Brooklyn was born at 10:22am weighing 5lbs 13.8oz. Both babies are in the NICU now. Brynlee is getting a bunch of tests done due to her duodenal atresia and CHD. Brooklyn is on a CPAP and both are doing well. They were born at 35 weeks exactly! So happy my girls are here!!
