One of my best friends from college have a son of whom I am the Godmother. About a month ago she told me she tossed out her sons bed due to bed bugs.
She stated she washed everything (they sleep together in a single bedroom) but have access to two floors in a family home.
Both floors are filthy and they often sleep everywhere. My concern is her lack of concern to have an exterminator come out.. I know the protocol because I work for a nursing home. My friend thinks" she got it". I am sure the bugs are all over the nasty building.
While I miss my Godson, of he's 5, I don't want him in my home for fear of bed bugs or near my son or my 5 year old niece who is usually with me.
What should I do or how do I bring up the subject to see how the bed bugs cleared up. If that make any sense.
