Re: protein pancakes.

  • I found this on a blog- they are amazing. I make them all the time. YUM!

    6oz plain greek yogurt
    1 large egg white
    1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup (about 2/3 scoop) vanilla whey protein powder OR chocolate!
    1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla OR a couple shakes of cinnamon and nutmeg (depending on what you what to add)
Anything else you’d like to add for flavor (I do bananas, strawberries, choco chips, or blueberries)

In a bowl, combine the dry ingredients- mix until well combined.
In another bowl, combine the wet ingredients and mix until well combined.
Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet, stirring as you go. The batter should become thick. Then add your extras- blueberries or whatnot

    Makes 6 large pancakes.

I had one, but it was on my old phone. I will say, I've tried tons of recipes, and they're always just a bit gritty because of the protein powder.

Anytime. They are so good. Blueberry banana are my fav!
  • I still need to know! Can I whip up the batter the night before??
    I don't know. I've never tried.

Try & see? If you do I'd just mix it really good the next am.

Yes, I do it all the time. I keep it in a sealed container and when I want to use it I stir it with a wisk really well. I believe I read somewhere it will keep for 3 days.. But mine never lasts that long.
